A large party of us stayed at the Garden Hotel as we were in Citta di Castelli for a wedding. We found the staff helpful, the rooms were not too spacious but were well equipped and cleaned daily to a high standard. We ate in the restaurant twice and the food was excellent and not too pricey. Breakfast was buffet... More

Hotel Garden claims four stars, but three is a stretch, in my opinion. It is a large contemporary building on the edge of town, a 1.5 km walk into the wonderful old town. It has no character at all, but staff on the desk were very helpful and wifi is free. My single room was small and furnishings were tired.... More

I last stayed at this hotel in November 2012, but my husband and I have used it quite a few times over the years, the rooms are a little small and the showers really do need upgrading it seems they have concentrated on the health and beauty side and not enough on the rooms. There is only one family room... More

The hotel is clearly over stated, I will give a 2,5 stars, but never 4 stars. The website says a short walk to the center but in reality it is a good walk. The room was smelly because of old carpet. in fact, the whole hotel is very old and if you take the stairs instead of the lift, you... More

I always take these reviews with a pinch of salt, so I thought I'd take time to write a resume of my holiday in Citta di Castello. So, what of the hotel? It's not exactly easy to find even with Sat-Nav and our taxi driver had a few 'moments' before finally finding it tucked away just off the main road.... More

This is a great hotel! Yes it's a 1970's 5 storey rectangle but it's been very tastefully refurbished. Rooms are large, comfortable, each with a balcony. Staff are welcoming, helpful and eager to please. Restaurant food was good, plentiful and an excellent choice. Peaceful garden with a pool, and a relaxing bar for a drink after dinner. Hotel is well... More
