Villa Bordoni was the recent setting for our son's wedding. It was the absolute perfect choice. From the moment we arrived and had our prosecco in their lovely rose filled gardens we were at home. The accommodations were elegant and understated. They are perfectly restored with great attention to detail. The bathrooms were completely up to date and yet charming with... More

My husband and I stayed at the Villa Bordoni for three nights over our honeymoon and instantly fell in love. On looks alone, the hotel is charming, warm and exquisitely decorated. Top that off with an amazing staff and fantastic food and this place really is the perfect Tuscan retreat. When we arrived Ricardo greeted us and showed us around... More

Villa Bordoni was our middle stop of a three stop honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. The setting is as picturesque as you can imagine, from the garden, to the pool, the villa and everything else around. The food - OMG! The food. Everything was incredible. World class chefs... More

A more beautiful restored building and grounds would be hard to find. David & his wife have created this idyllic location over 25 years and worked apparently tirelessly to make this a gem of a villa. It offers lush flower gardens, plushly appointed rooms & dining area (both in and outdoors) and a sparkling pool area. The views from everywhere... More

This was our second visit, the first being 6 years ago. So often the return visit is never quite as good as you think you remember the first. That was not the case this time. I'm convinced my blood pressure drops 20 points just by checking in to this relaxing inn. Everything works. The room was A+, and the entire... More

Villa Bordoni, thanks to its attentive staff, special room, the food, and setting, ruined our Tuscany plans---we hung around and neglected the rest of our sightseeing. Dinner in their small restaurant is special, and lounging by the pool with views of the vineyards and hills was a delight. Kudos for David and Katherine...we hope to return one day!

Loved this place. After a daunting ride in via the "high road", the staff was great at making us comfortable and truly making this our bet stop on our trip to Italy. Located high on a Tuscan hillside, the views are remarkable, the rooms beautiful, the food great. Very peaceful, truly enjoyed our stay. A great value.

If you follow the sign posts to this hotel near Greve, Chianti you will not be disappointed! We arrived a little too late for lunch, though the owner provided us with a shady table in the beautiful garden, white wine and a cheese and meat platter to sample. We even bought a bottle of their wine upon leaving! This hidden... More

While visiting Chianti last week we met David, the wonderful owner of Villa Bordoni. We signed up for a cooking class, followed by dinner. What a lovely experience! Villa Bordoni is so charming, David so welcoming, the kitchen gorgeous and professional! His team was great - even for an experience cook we learned super tips for making focaccia and pasta.... This was a great, out of the way, large old country house. Access is by a dirt road, which also provides lots of options for hour walks through the vineyards and into the small castle town nearby. You are actually outside Greve, but close to lots of vineyards and wineries if you wish to take tours. We did our own... More
