My husband and I stayed here for one night in June. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this villa. The location, dining, vistas, accommodations, staff .. all superb. Looking forward to returning. Wish we had stayed longer. If I ever run away from home this is where my family will find me.

We stayed last year as well, and decided to return in low season. The weather was mixed, but everything about the hotel has been reconfirmed! Some improvements (not that they were needed) were apparently made during their annual closure - and this year we even got a 3d tvset in our room! We are trying to turn these visits to... More

We were looking for "something different" to end our two week holiday visiting different parts of Italy in July of 2013. And we found it!! We nearly didn't visit Villa Bordoni, having already pre - booked another Villa close by, but having read an article in "Delicious" the UK food magazine, that all changed. The article described how the Scottish... More

This hotel was the best place we could find in Toscana. Right from the start, the hotel showed its great service. We arrived very late because my wife felt sick during the road trip to Greve in Chianti. Even though it was 3 AM they tried to get a doctor to help my wife, In the end they even made... More

This hotel was simply a different experience. The ambiance, the landscape, the decoration, the smells, the lighting, the food... everything was amazing and delicious. Our bedroom was really nice, a big room, very cozy and well decorated. The restaurant is simply one of the best we went to in Tuscany, the service was great as well, really professionals and warm... I kept meaning to write the review and had not got around to it. Wonderful setting in the Tuscan hills, with a rustic villa that has been renovated to make comfortable but still retaining the feel of it's surroundings and in keeping with its past. The service is impeccable, with charming and attentive hosts with a keen eye for detail... More

I have been negligent in not reviewing sooner. We stayed here in March 2013 with our college age daughter who was studying in Italy for the semester and couldn't have been happier!! The hotel and all the people working there were so charming, extremely warm and helpful. The views were spectacular. Our room was beautifully furnished and had an upstairs... More

As a frequent traveler, I am well aware of the disparity that exists in the levels of quality with accommodations and the value of exceptional customer service. I have been visiting Villa Bordoni since 2008 and having spent an extensive amount of the past 10 years traveling in Italy and Tuscany specifically, I have found it very hard to find... More

We stayed for two nights with our college aged daughter and were so pleased by the experience. The restaurant on property is so exceptional it provides an added level of relaxation knowing you simply need to walk up the stairs to bed. The rooms are quaint, but have modern touches that make you realize you are not at your grandmothers... More

We stayed here as part of a rather large bike tour group. The driveway leading to the property is, indeed, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. I would NOT negotiate it by car in the dark unless your nick-name is "Daredevil (no, should I say, Reckless) Dave!" The owner is a Scottish transplant. While nice enough, he attempted, at every opportunity, to... More
