We stayed in this hotel for 4 days. The place is absolutely great (lost in the hills, surrounded by vineyards), very very very quiet. Rooms are clean , even if not decorated with the best of tastes. The owner is very helpful and can provide good tips to find restaurants, etc. I recommend the swimming pool with an incredible view... more

My adult daughter and I stayed two nights in October. Location is fantastic, very pleasant drive up a 5 km gravel road, great views and sunsets, lots of places to sit. Lovely old house. Rooms immaculate. We cooked a nice dinner from local products in the big kitchen one night. There is a wonderful bakery on the square downtown, don't... more

Simonetta and her husband run a beautiful B&B. We were there for 5 nights at the end of September/beginning of October while they were harvesting their grapes and they still had time to serve good breakfasts (pastry, cornflakes, yogurt, toast, tea or coffee and local honey and jam) and provide travel advice for the area. The grounds are wonderful, with... more

My wife and I rented one of Le Cetinelle's apartments for 12 days, and we could not have been more pleased. First of all, the apartment was HUGE, with 6 large rooms (including a massive bathroom). Very clean and well appointed. The grounds and surroundings are absolutely stunning. At 90 Euros per day, we felt we got a bargain. Breakfast... more

We spent 4 relaxing nights at Le Cetinelle in July 2009. We booked our stay based on the reviews that underline the peace and quietness of the place and were not the least bit disappointed. Le Cetinelle really is relaxing and away from all hustle and bustle! It is a good base for winery tours and visiting nearby cultural attractions,... more

We spent four wonderful days in the beautiful Chianti countryside and awoke each morning to the sound of the cuckoo and pheasants in the surrounding woodlands and vineyards. Simonetta and her husband are ideal hosts and make every effort to make your stay a memorable one including recommending some excellent restaurants and really beautiful places to visit in the region. more

WOW! It was really breathtaking. I didn't want to leave. Simonetta, the owner, is so welcoming and sweet. Her English is wonderful too! When we arrived she showed us to our room, or apartment rather. We were given the "il Girasol" which was actually more like an apartment. It had its own kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom, laundry room, and... more

We stayed at this B&B in May, 2008 for 6 nights and would recommend it to anyone looking for a Tuscan getaway! The farmhouse was very charming, along with the large rooms, gracious hosts, and breathtaking views of the Tuscan hillsides and vineyards. The drive up the hill was well worth the trip but we definately recommend having a car... more

Very nice house on a hill in Tuscany. Great atmosphere. Lots of places to sit and relax among the nice gardens and clean pool. Rooms nice with fans but no a/c. We were not hot in July. We did a day trip to Florence and had no issues. Definitely plan to spend an afternoon relaxing around the yard to take... more
