We spent 4 days here a few years ago celebrating our 50th Anniversary with 2 of our children. The farmhouse/bed and breakfast was beautiful surrounded by a vineyard on one side and olive trees on the other. The pool completes the peaceful setting. Simonetta provided fine breakfasts and valuable tourist tips. It was a perfect jumping off place for touring... More

We arrived to this lovely place at 9 pm after wondering at the chianti with no place to stay. The lady of the house saved us and let us in although it was very late.we were surprised how warm and welcoming she was And the hose was beyond. We had a kitchen to our service and the room and bathroom... More

We stayed 5 nights here in the downstairs apartment la Grisole. Ideal for us as we were a couple and sister. Wine, olive oil and honey available to buy from kitchen area upstairs. We loved the Chianti Classic, Rosso! Huge bathroom with washing machine, no powder though so take your own. Lovely fireplace which heated up the whole apartment. Easy... More

My husband and I spent only 1 night at Le Centinelle out of our 5 week Europe holiday and some of our best memories are of the place. We had a cooking class with Simonetta and her friend. We made ravioli and panna cotta. Both turned out extremely well. We sat down for dinner with Simonetta's family and enjoyed prosecco... More

Simonetta and Luca own a small piece of paradise about 5 kilometers above Greve. Best B and B experience in 15 years of trips to small towns in Italy. Nice large rooms. Clean large bathroom. Very nice central gathering area for breakfast, drink at sunset or the occasional dinner when cooking class has been preparing meal. Breakfast was fresh and... More

We've spent 4 nights at La Cetinelle. We were 2 couples, so we prefered to rent Il Girasole apartment (beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms, huge bathroom and very well equipped kitchen). We had a great time there. Simonetta and Luca were very kind and helped us with everything we needed. The place is beautiful, located on a hill, 4 km... More

This was our second stay at Le Cetinelle - we were wary about going back as we had enjoyed our first visit so much that we didn't want to run the risk of being disappointed. Far from it. Our second stay only increased our love of this very special place nestled in the Tuscan Hills. Yes the road is bumpy... More

A bunch of us rented out the villa for the week after our friend's wedding and we had a great time in Le Cetinelle. The last few km of the road up the mountain are a dirt road, but the villa is well worth it, and so is the view! The rooms were spacious, well equipped for the colder nights.... More

Le Cetinelle is a nice and quiet place hidden in the tuscan countryside 5km east of Greve in Chianti. Simonetta offers both b&b and appartments. A low number of mosquitoes is a big benefit of the unique 600 m altitude. The only downside is the 4 km dirtroad that leads to the place. The road from East (Lucolena) is slightly... More

This was a great place to stop for a night when I visited recently with my wife and in-laws. The location out of town was great as it was quiet and afforded you stunning views. The road is a bit bumpy getting to the place but that won't deter me from returning! Nice pool and nice rooms. Breakfast was really... More

This typical stone-built Tuscan farmhouse, completely renovated, is only 5 km from the town of Greve in Chianti and is the perfect base for anyone who wishes to visit the great art cities of Tuscany and the medieval villages of Chianti, or for those who prefer walking or excursions on mountain bikes, or for those who want to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the countryside. On the first floor of the house there are 6 bedrooms with bathroom, each one finely furnished with great attention to every detail. The splendid ceilings with wood beams and terracotta tiles, the windows which offer beautiful views of the garden, the vines and the hills make this house special. There is a large dining room with a fireplace where we serve breakfast. There is also a kitchen for the use of the guests of the B&B.Le Cetinelle’s position is indeed special, on a hill-top away from the crowds, 620m above sea-level. Our guests can relax in the lovely flower garden which surrounds the house, where tables, chairs and hammocks are at the disposal of all the guests. The saltwater pool has spectacular views over the vines, the olive groves, the hills and as far as Florence itself, particularly beautiful at sunset.
