We reached Cecilia's B and B after a morning's travel from Florence to Greve, a lunch in Greve's city center, and then a lazy hike up in the hills to her place. We had booked the room on a whim the morning of our arrival after deciding to escape to the countryside for a quick overnight. In reality, we booked... More

We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Cecilia is a friendly host and her dogs always make sure you have some company. The agritourismo is at the end of a dirt road with a great view on the surroundings and while we were there they were working on a pool, so even better next year! More

Oh how we miss this place. Not just the amazing view of vineyards, villas and tree lined streets and rolling hilltops, or the spotless room with sheets that smelt like fresh lavendar or even the sunrising over the hills and frost settling in the valley but also Cecilia, her gorgeous dogs and the lovely friends we made there. If the... More

We spent 4 summer nights in the Stalla - the ancient stone basement of Podere Torre. Cecilia was the most generous of hostesses - her breakfasts overlooking the valley were not to be missed. The rooms and the surrounding gardens had been so lovingly decorated and the tranquil view over the vineyards, olive groves and lines of cypress was unforgettable.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a longer holiday in Italy. The location is fantastic, high up in the Chianti hills. Cecilia, the hostess, is kindness personified, and gave us a warm welcome. There are plenty of opportunities to taste good food and wine nearby. Cecilia has three dogs, which roam around the area freely. Although we... More

My husband and I stayed here in July for 3 nights on our 7 week holiday in Italy. We loved it so much we came back for 3 nights on our return journey. Cecilia is a delight and serves the best breakfast we had in all our travels in the most amazing setting. We just loved sitting on the deck... More

I stayed here for one week in August for my honeymoon with my lovely new wife. We were drawn to Podere Torre largely due to the positive reviews found on Tripadvisor and could not be more emphatic with our agreement. It is not really right to call this place a B&B and it is not really a hotel. What you... More

Late in the afternoon and after a rough way through the hills we arrived at the Podere Torre in Chianti. And there she was: Cecilia our hostess - with her three sweet dogs Rocky, Luna and Napoleone. She gave us a warm welcome and showed us the facilities and rooms. We were really impressed. Everything was equipped in a loving... More

This B&B is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Chianti- just outside of Greve. It is well worth the bumpy, hilly ride to get to this location! We were kindly greated by Cecelia, Luna, Rocky, and Napoleon! It is one of the most peaceful places I've ever been. Breakfast is incredible! If you stay here, you don't want to... More

this place was the highlight of our Italy trip...... we stayed in the stalla which is a lovely big room at the back of the main house - brick walls, amazing bed and very clean and rustic! The gadens of this place are a dream - 4 hammoks, ping pong table, vegetable patch, floews, pear trees, amazing views.....if you stay... More
