We've just returned from 8 wonderful nights at the Castello! Stunning views from the hill top location, wonderful food (particularly the Monday night dinner) and staff very welcoming and helpful. Our room in La Canolica was very comfortable and clean. The infinity pool was a lovely way to relax after sightseeing. Hope to return in the future!

We loved Castello Vicchiomaggio! We stayed there for 4 nights in May and loved the location, views from our rooms and the whole package! We stayed in the apartments and had nothing to complain at all! The weather was perfect and the whole experience of being in Tuscany was everything I thought it would be! Thoroughly recommend it!

We stayed here for two nights in June, and wish we had stayed longer! The rooms were updated, yet quaint, and the views breathtaking. Breakfast was a nice spread, our lunch was even better, but you must do dinner in the main dining room for a true tuscan feast. The food was incredible, as was the wine. The wine tour... More

The history was as incredible as was the accommodation. Our room was huge with views forever. It was hard to take it all in. The staff did everything possible to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. Weather was perfect. Sitting beside the pool under the Tuscan sun was very special. Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay again if... More

Ancient castle that is a great hotel and working vineyard. We didn't stay here but enjoyed the dinner in the castle dining room. We met some guests that commented that the rooms were great. The dinner we had was fantastic and the wine tasting turned into a few too many bottles for us.

We stayed at the hotel for five nights in late March 2014. The season hadn't really started yet, and the grounds were being prepared and manicured for high season. Nevertheless, we had very temperate weather, stunning views, and an overall fantastic stay. Our room was in the newer building next to the parking lot. We had the room to the... More

We just got back from Italy and had a fabulous 4 night stay at this hotel. Our only regret is not staying longer. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, authentic place to stay during our Tuscan experience. First of all, the location is ideal, surrounded by Tuscan countrysides, vineyards, and beautiful landscapes. We saw the castle from the... More

We stayed for just two nights unfortunately but we would definitely stay again if we make it back to this area. Lovely friendly staff who were patient with our Italian efforts but who all spoke french and english. Stunning location, very centrally located for all the wonderful wine tasting opportunities in the region and Nadia and Ines run a passionate... More

We stayed at the Castello for six nights in the Casina. The Casina is a rustic, one bedroom cottage, away from the main buildings. It's a unique, private and very quiet hideaway. It doesn't appear on their website. I understand it is only bookable by particular Travel Agents. The Castello itself is a magnificent old castle, perched on a hill,... More

This is an amazing peaceful haven in 1 of the most beautiful locations in the world. Rooms basic but fine. Best pool views ever. You will need a car to visit the local town Greve which is beautiful with many good restaurants in the square and around. Breakfast fine. Feels like you have the place to yourself even when full....
