I celebrated my birthday and we spent 2 weeks at this lovely place in chianti region and I wanted to say Thank You for the special holiday you afforded me. One of the nicest places I have been .The wine was exceptional, the place was cozy, and the staff in this villa was knowledgeable and friendly. I was impressed by... More

Villa Vignamaggio is the quintessential Tuscan villa, idyllically located near Greve in Chianti and surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. You can spend your days exploring the numerous local wineries, or take a daytrip to Siena, San Gimignano or Florence, all less than an hour’s drive away. There are several accommodation options – the villa itself, or one of the... More

We spent two nights here - our little treat on an otherwise relatively shoe string trip through Italy. We weren't disappointed! The room: Our room was in the farm house - just down the hill from the main villa - however this perhaps enhanced our stay as it felt very private and was just in front of the pool which... More

our stay at this hotel was only for a couple of days, unfortunately...the next time we 'll plan one week at least. We enjoyed every single moment, every single corner of this property. Very romantic and incredibly clean the room, lovely the restaurant and fabulous the garden. Very friendly the staff. We highly recommend this place! JOan

I read many reviews before making my final decision to stay here. We wanted somewhere with not so many kids, great food, beautiful location and close to other villages for us to visit. The staff here were super friendly. The infinity pool had a beautiful view and was typically quiet in the middle of the day. The room we stayed... More

We got at Vignamaggio by chance..and our stay there has been superb ..we enjoyed everything of the classic huge room in the Villa, the food and wine, the magnificent gardens..we didn't have the time for a session to the spa which looks so nice.. the only complain is that two days were too short to really enjoy the location

we stumbled across this place by accident on a day trip to greve from the coast. WOW. it's absolutely stunning. we stayed in an apartment - they were kind enough to show us rooms in the apartment and the estate, but we felt the apts were much better appointed and spacious. the grounds are stunning and well maintained. there is... I have been on many wine tours and tastings around the world and this one is pretty spectacular. The tour guide was well educated and knowledgeable. The facility is spectacular in beauty and history. The location is mind-boggling. I didn't have the good fortune of staying in the hotel but it is definitely on my bucket list.

I stayed here last month on a business trip. The location is stunning. The staff were professional. The rooms are all over the place - in different buildings. I stayed at the main villa which is a bit of a walk to the restaurant that serves breakfast. This isn't such a bad thing when the walk is beautiful, however I... More
