We stayed here for 3 nights in between Venice and the Dolomites and it was heaven. We did the wine and sunset dinner which was interesting and we learned a lot about the Villa's history. Breakfast was lovely and the grounds beautiful. We ate in Greve and wished we could have go to the restaurant in Lamole the next village.... More

We spent 2 nights here in the middle of our Italy holiday and this was the perfect break from the sight seeing and hustle bustle of Florence and Rome. The Villa is very easy to get to from Florence, we took a regular taxi and reached in about an hour. The property is beautiful and very well maintained and has... More

Vignmaggio offers a wonderful tour for 25euros of the winery with a lovely tasting afterwards. Three wines are offered in the tastings that are nice pours, not a thimble full that many places offer. They also serve a very ample variety of cheeses, meats and bread with the wine. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the wine making process and... More

Nice place! I attended the wedding here at Vignamaggio. The four days that I stayed here were perfect. Magnificent views around this hotel made my niece wedding came out perferctly. You only need to bring insect repellent if you plan to go out in the evening.

Just the place we needed after four nights in Florence. We had a nice drive there and were not disappointed. The views are spectacular, the gardens much nicer than anything we saw in Florence. We treated ourselves to massages and the wine tour that included a wonderful gourmet meal. This villa have us the experience that we wanted and the... More

The restoration of this historic villa was done with incredible taste and attention to detail. This was the Italy I did not find in Florence! The gardens were spectacular as was the room, views, and food. The wine tour great fun and adds a wonderful personal dimension to staying there where so much amazing history took place. One of our... Vignamaggio is a very romantic place to stay as a couple. Both the place itself and the surrounding landscape is simply delightful. The apartments are large and comfortable, the gardens beautiful. We enjoyed the outdoor pool in the hot weather, and would also recommend Marias cooking course. Greve-in-Chianti and Panzano are nearby villages worth a visit. Look for the butcher... More

Vignamaggio is an amazing villa with spectacular views and gardens. It was memorable to stay in the historic villa. The breakfast was especially good with many hot and cold choices. Small touches thoughout including little baked treats and wine strategically placed in the common areas were especially welcomming. This is the most beautiful place we visited in Italy.

I spent a week at the charming Vignamaggio as part of a large family group and had a great experience. Vignamaggio is a large vineyard that has converted a number of stone buildings on the premises into very spacious individual duplex apartments. To be sure, these are not luxury accommodations, but the rooms were large, clean and comfortable, the staff... More

We pre-booked the tour and lunch and it was the highlight of our week in Tuscany. The villa, gardens and vines are stunning. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The drive to the winery was delightful with many photo opportunities.
