Great Villa apartment. 53 sq.mtrs. Immaculately cleaned everyday. Wonderful antique rustic furniture. Large lounge and dining area. Very spacious, four-poster bedroom. Large bathroom. Small but useful kitchenette. Lovely outside patio area with chairs and table and wonderful views over the Tuscan countryside. Great atmosphere wandering around this beautiful Villa where Kenneth Branagh and his 'luvvies' filmed 'Much Ado About Nothing'... More

My husband and I did a whirlwind 15 night Italian vacation last summer, and this was without a doubt our favorite place we stayed, and the best meal we had, the entire trip. The grounds are rustic and authentic yet beautiful and clean and classy. The staff was so knowledgeable and kind. We had a fantastic tasting meal (worth every... More

Went to a friend's wedding here. This place is really so special. Not sure exactly the value, as we didn't pay for a room but ended up staying in one of them after missing the shuttle back to our own hotel (the similarly spectacular Castello Vicciomaggio). The food here wasn't so exceptional - drive up to Ristorante di Lamole for... More

Everything about this place was beautiful and magical - from the rooms to the pools to the eating areas. We enjoyed a concert by local musicians (sax and piano) on the veranda of the main villa. We also took advantage of the cooking experience (worth every penny - the food was the best we had during our 2-week stay in... More

My wife and our two sons, ages 8 and 13 stayed in an apartment for four nights. The apartment was in a separate building down a hill from the main villa. This unit was close to an infinity pool. The units were cleaned daily, had ceiling fans and air conditioning and were furnished in a Classic Tuscan style. The views... More

We took an apartment for three nights and also had a dinner, wine tour with dinner and breakfast. I also had a massage at the spa. Our apartment was over two levels with the bottom door leading to a private balcony and then the pool. The views from the pool were stunning. We really enjoyed the wine tour and dinner... More

This winery was ranked #2 on TripAdvisor so we believed the wine tasting and Tuscan lunch would be equivalent to the #1 rated Castello Veranzzano we went to last year. Simply it was poor and extremely disappointing. We paid 55 euros a person. The staff were good but it was not a true Tuscan lunch. It was an attempt at... More

This is the nicest place we've ever stayed. The service is top notch. We were assisted on multiple occasions by the front desk with them going so far as to translate photos we had taken of a sign in Italian (advertising the slow food market in nearby Greve). We used the laundry service and found it to be a fair... More

Our two night stay here far exceeded our already high expectations, and the Villa's well known reputation for being one of Chianti's finest agriturismos'. The villa, located in the heart of Tuscany, in Greve, dates back to 14th century. It is here, that legend says, Leonardo da Vinci first met Mona Lisa La Gioconda, the subject of his famous haunting... More
