If you don't know your way there, make sure you have a GPS as it is difficult to find, but worth it when you get there. Reception staff were very helpful and helped plan where we should visit, although as we were there 'off season' the gym and winery weren't open which was disappointing. The same applied in Greve and... More

Although saying hotel is reductive Before checking in we had planned to drive around and visit other wineries, cities, villages, then we finished to spend all days there. we enjoyed the winetour with tasting, had great food at the restaurant, lunch and dinner..the staff so nice and discrete, we did'nt have the time to enjoy the spa, but other guests... We stumbled upon Vignamaggio, as we were unhappy with our accommodations in nearby Radda. Anyway, our move here was a fantastic choice- paradise! Arrived not long before 6, and had time for quick wine tasting and opportunity to purchase a bottle of their fabulous Chianti. Don't miss it! The gal in shop, sorry I did not get her name, was... What a gorgeous property this is. We planned a day tour from Livorno organized by AIM Limo and after a lovely morning in San Gimignano, we drove to Villamagio for a tour of the winery and lunch. Little did we know what a wonderful experience it would be. The tour was wonderful, our guide was so knowledgeable and interesting and... More

We'll keep it simple: this was the best experience of our trip all over Italy. We drove up to Vignamaggio for a tour and lunch. The scenery was draw-droppingly beautiful, the wine and food were superb, and the tour was both fascinating and a complete blast. We did not actually stay in the hotel, so cannot speak to the accommodations... More

We stayed in 2 apartments in the fienile, it was really pretty with kitchen on the bottom floor with bathroom and room upstairs, quite farm like looking, the decor is warm and homely. Not super fancy but ok. The view is amazing to die for. You could just sit outside for hours. Breakfast was good and plenty of choices with... More

We really enjoyed our time at Vignamaggio - the setting is beautiful and the staff all friendly and helpful. There are good facilities and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant and the cooking course which was a highlight of our trip. My only complaint would be the room we were given - we had chosen to stay in the cheapest... More
