The property is everything you would imagine Tuscany to be! The vineyards, olive trees and rolling hills are spectacular. We stayed in the renovated farmhouse which was down the hill from the main Villa. The apartments were very nicely refurbished - providing new modern themes while not diminishing the "rustic" feel of the farmhouse. If we had it to do... More

We are seniors (65+), can afford and expect exceptional standard of accommodation. The accommodation we chose was an apartment to provide additional space. As it turned out our apartment was located in "Casolese". The car park was some 100+ metres away from the accommodation which made the process of dragging cases over pebbled driveway for ageing people a difficult and... More

We couldn't stop taking pictures! It's just beautiful property. The rooms were nice, the breakfast was wonderful and we loved the sunset dinner and wine tour. Wish we could have stayed longer!! The pool and spa were great as well.

We loved the experience. It was so peaceful and the staff was incredibly professional. We had #19 which was located right next to the wellness center. So quiet and nice. We had a most peaceful 2 days. Only negative was the noisy Americans arriving on day 3. (Being one myself, just an observation of how noisy the whole place became... More

I came across this place a few years ago as I have organized the wine tasting and the lunch at this place and since then always I wanted to come back for a few days. So, this time I did and stayed 4 nights at this most beautiful, unbelievable place on earth. I have never came across or been to... More

I celebrated my birthday and we spent 2 weeks at this lovely place in chianti region and I wanted to say Thank You for the special holiday you afforded me. One of the nicest places I have been .The wine was exceptional, the place was cozy, and the staff in this villa was knowledgeable and friendly. I was impressed by... More

Villa Vignamaggio is the quintessential Tuscan villa, idyllically located near Greve in Chianti and surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. You can spend your days exploring the numerous local wineries, or take a daytrip to Siena, San Gimignano or Florence, all less than an hour’s drive away. There are several accommodation options – the villa itself, or one of the... More

We spent two nights here - our little treat on an otherwise relatively shoe string trip through Italy. We weren't disappointed! The room: Our room was in the farm house - just down the hill from the main villa - however this perhaps enhanced our stay as it felt very private and was just in front of the pool which... More

our stay at this hotel was only for a couple of days, unfortunately...the next time we 'll plan one week at least. We enjoyed every single moment, every single corner of this property. Very romantic and incredibly clean the room, lovely the restaurant and fabulous the garden. Very friendly the staff. We highly recommend this place! JOan

I read many reviews before making my final decision to stay here. We wanted somewhere with not so many kids, great food, beautiful location and close to other villages for us to visit. The staff here were super friendly. The infinity pool had a beautiful view and was typically quiet in the middle of the day. The room we stayed... More
