10th trip to the Dolomites and 3rd time in the Portavescovo. Ideally located for the piste with 150m walk to the chairlift heading towards Alta Badia or 700m to the Portavescovo cable car. Really nice hotel with very friendly staff, nice rooms, sauna/steam room, pool. Lovely food in the evening and good breakfast to start the day. More

The Hotel Portavescovo was a friendly, comfortable and clean hotel with all the facilities you could want after a day on the slopes, Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Bar. Friendly staff who did all they could, language permitting, to help and fantastic tasty choice of food in the Restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner (even catering for a special... More

Arabba is a small quiet town, and this hotel is fairly traditional one with decent clean rooms and facilities. The food is ok - although both of the times I have been there I have been eating with a large group in a separate dining room. Good things - location, views, food, the Bars. Bad things - Pool a bit... More

We stayed at the Portavescovo for our first family skiing holiday. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere with helpful staff and clean, spacious rooms. The food was great but perhaps a little fussy for the kids. The ski lifts are about 100m from the hotel, perhaps a little far lugging the kids kit but there are few hotels... More

I have just spent a short time at the hotel on a skiing trip and found it to be very good in all respects. In particular the staff are friendly and helpful, the accommodation is clean and comfortable and the facilities are just what you need after a hard day skiing. While I can imagine that the small pool would... More

We stayed at the Portavescovo in January with a party of nine and a baby. First impressions are always important and the hotel served us a magnificent cold plate based on prosciutto (ham) and cheese when we arrived late at 10.30pm. We were delighted with our rooms, which were spacious, modern and well equipped with a balcony and good views.... More

Seven of us stayed in the Portavescovo on a ski holiday in the first week of April. Arabba is a delightful village and snow conditions were excellent for the time of year, but people looking for nightlife should look elsewhere: there isn't any, which some of us would regard as a plus. As for the hotel, I had stayed there... More
