We visited this hotel for one night during our fly and drive through Sicily. One of our nights was booked in Hotel Gangi and it has been the worst ever! On arrival we were able to park our car in front of the hotel for free. This was the only positive of our stay. The old man surfing the internet... More

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights What a beautiful hotel view! The customer service upon arrival was excellent- we were given an option to upgrade to a villa as the initial room did not have the view we expected. Courteous, responsive staff, that were really trained on keeping the customer happy- that's what I'm all about!... More

Chosen by our tour company This would have been quite a nice hotel if it had only been a little larger. We had to move round our bedroom as if using traffic lights & opening a suitcase fully was difficult! I don't know if stouter visitors would ever manage a shower. Lift AND luggage - very difficult. I should have... More

We stayed at this property for one night since we had an issue with our original arrangements, so we really didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. The rooms were old and dank. They didn't feel the cleanest.. No wifi, but there is a computer you can use at the reception. Breakfast was the worst we had anywhere in... More

My husband and I stayed one night at this hotel when we were touring Sicily earlier this year. We only chose it because we decided to visit the Villa Romana del Casale (incredible, definitely worth a visit!!) at the last minute and this was the most affordable option available. That being said, it was actually the most expensive place we... More

We were touring around Sicily back in October 2012 and this was the worse value for money accomodation we had during the whole fortnight. Breakfast was very poor. Fortunately we were only staying for one night.

I travelled with a party and we were all frozen overnight. There were insufficient blankets and it was sooooooo chilly. Breakfast was marred by the lack of tea or coffee: it appeared to have to be fetched from upstairs. Room 207, as a previous reviewer has commented, is partly converted for people with disabilities. The 'wet room' style shower is... More

The hotel is centrally located and isn't terribly expensive, but it seemed to be running on a shoestring budget. The great thing is its location within walking distance to the old town of Piazza Amerina and has a few parking spots on the street right outside, if you are lucky enough to nab a spot. Otherwise you are on your... More

Before checking into Hotel Gangi, we had tried several other accommodations but they had no vacancies. So we accepted Room 207, a handicapped room. The desk did not tell us it was a handicapped room, but it was okay--a bit cramped and would have been difficult for a wheel chair to negotiate the room. Shower did not drain fast enough... More
