Stayed here as we wanted to go see the Roman ruins nearby. The breakfast was amazing. It had a great view and the staff did a good job. On the downside it's a long way from the town so someone had to drive to dinner and the rooms could have been a little nicer.

We stayed three nights in this delightful B&B. Although it is a bit difficult to find the first time, once you know, it is no problem and the view from the house is terrific. The hosts are charming and very welcoming and Louisa very helpful. The breakfast around a communal table is terrific and although you are encouraged to chat... More

No wi-fi coverage (at least in the room we've been given) which could be easily improved. Very nice view on Piazza Armerina from the breakfast room, where a huge table will accomodate all guests, sitting together. Good availability of parking places. Location quite convenient for Piazza Armerina and its Villa Romana

We stayed in the small Piccole Joie room, adjoining the main building. It was a great room, rustically furnished but very cozy, with a view of the garden and the town; wonderful breakfast; lovely hosts. This B&B is slightly outside town, which we really appreciated since we were visiting other locations from Piazza Armerina, and it made coming and going... More

there dont seem to many good hotels in Piazza Armerina and so this B&B ends up as #1! it is a very good B&B but it is at least 2km from town so to eat anywhere you have to go at night, preferably by car.. but.. the town is a nightmare of narrow streets and i recommend only going after,... More

This B&B is well worth a stay. The owners and staff are welcoming and charming. The rooms are a little small but comfortable and very clean. Here is an example of the hospitality which still amazes me. We had a reservation at Al Fogher restaurant which is a good 25 minutes away. We asked our host to arrange for a... More

I don't quite understand why this place gets such high reviews, other than it has a lovely view on the large balcony and breakfast is very nice. Our room was adequate with a mix of modern bathroom fixtures and older bedroom furniture, but it was very clean and comfortable. However, the walls are thin and you can hear other guests... More

We were here for one night. We did have a car and found it was not difficult to find. The signs are not the best, but they are there and if you follow them you'll be fine (I find signs are often more reliable than a GPS). The place is very comfortable and welcoming. Our room was excellent and the... More

Sulla Collina D'oro was a jewel overlooking Piazza Armerina. Agree you do need a car, but then I believe a car is essential in Sicily if you travel from location to location. The room was very clean, spacious, well appointed, and the bed and linens were very comfortable. Our hosts treated everyone as their special guests and the breakfasts were... More

I would agree with the positive comments expressed by most reviewers regarding the quality of the rooms, friendly owners, great breakfast and delightful hosts. Sadly I cannot give this place full marks for a number of minor reasons - none of which the owners of the B&B can do anything about I am afraid. 1. It it a bit awkward... More
