We would like to thank you Giuseppe for the hospitality. For us this was the best B&B that we had during our stay in Sicily. Mamma maria's breakfast is excellent especially " le marmellate" The location of the B&B is ideal for a tranquille vacation - just a small drive from the centre but still very close. Had difficulty in initial location of accomodation, even with help of GPS and a local. But it was well worth the effort. Had a ball with the hosts and visiting Italian families from the mainland. Maria's kitchen was fantastic and Guiseppe was a real character and full of fun. A highlight of Sicily. more

Guiseppe & his mother, Maria, were outstanding hosts, who treated the 4 of us as members of their family. So much so they invited us to dinner with some other guests. A group of 22 people, eating maria's fresh cooked spagetti & Guiseppe's roasted (BBQ) pork. What a night to remember. Guisppe's son's Calegio & Alexandra were also great hosts.... more

Great place. Giuseppe is a great host. Price can't be beaten and neither can his breakfasts. Perfect stopover for the Villa Romana and Morgantina. Any negative feedback should be treated with a pinch of salt, which could be down to language barriers. There is a highway nearby but there is so little traffic you don't even know it's there, especially... more

We were entirely misled by the website and the guest book on the website. The location was between a large sewage processing plant and an overhead highway. Our hearts dropped as we drove to the place. A surly elderly woman came out and tried to direct us to a new purpose-built unit that contained three small garishly painted rooms, instead... more

We stayed on May 20 in the B&B Giucalem and it was really very comfortable stay ! Don't know what happened to the American people with tha feedbakc because everything was really OK. Very polite, very helpful people, great breakfast made by la mamma and we had even the occasion to look into private photo albums ! The restaurant Toto... more

We planned to stay here for 3 nights during our 2-week stay in Sicily after reading the great reviews here. Unfortunately, it was by far the worst experience of our trip and we feel really misled. Given the name of this B&B, we expected to be in the beautiful countryside. Although we drove through gorgeous areas to get here, however,... more

Our stay at the Giucalem was one of the highlights of our visit to Sicily. The family who operate it were great hosts. In the afternoon, they gave us some of their homemade wine and a wonderful breakfast the following day. The room was fine, although not fancy. I enjoyed practicing my limited italian with them. The B&B was a... more

A great website , which included a link to Google Earth so you could see exactly where the B&B was, hooked us. And the actuality more than matched the expectation. For a good start, it is easy to find as it's signposted from every direction - finding your accommodation can be challenging in Sicily ! We had a warm welcome... more

As we pulled onto the small dirt road, we quickly noticed that this was not your usual B&B. This was a no-nonsense vegetable farm. A building here, another over there, a couple of abandoned vehicles, and vegetable gardens everywhere. At first we were a little apprehensive, but our concerns were quickly washed away by the greeting from the entire family... more
