I discovered this B&B in 2006 and since then my family and I never miss it every time we come to Villa del Casale. I first came with friends, then my brother and his girl-friend in 2011, and last May I stayed with my mother. It is surrounded by farmland, rooms and bathrooms are large and clean, parking place is... More

Difficult to find on sat nav but just follow the well signposted route to Villa Romana through Piazza Armerina and you'll find the B&B as you descend the hill, on your right. Calogero and his family were a delight to meet and the natural farmland makes it easy to ignore the nearby bypass and we were not disturbed at all.... More

We spent two nights at this B&B. It is excellently located to visit the Roman villa. The building is surrounded by fruit trees with very tasty figs. Unfortunately, however, the nearby car overpass undermines the countryside atmosphere and the resulting noise did not go unnoticed (especially on the Sunday night). The owner is very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.... More

This is a great B&B with warm and friendly hosts, conveniantly located on the west side of town giving access to the old Roman villa. The breakfast and the family grandmother that managed it were a real highlight, especially her home-made marmalade. The host was knowledgable about the town's resturants and directed us to an excellent pizzaria where we had... More

The room was big and comfortable with good decoration. Warm welcome by the family. Location is just outside the old town not too bad to get to. The breakfast was fantastic with everything from their own farm and the entire family with mama to serve us. Had very nice stay and enjoyed it.

A quiet place just outside but very close( only 5 minutes by car) to the Villa Romana. Breakfast is served at a long table where all the guests are sitting. You can have a nice chat with people all over the world. The breakfast itself is delicious. Giuseppe even makes for you a nice plate with cheese and the best... More

By the time we reached Piazza Armerina we had been travelling for over 20 hours due to unforeseen hitches in our plane connections. As we had not rented a car, we took the bus from Catania to Piazza Armerina, where Giuseppe picked us up, took us back to the B&B, and treated us to a light dinner including wonderful fresh... More

Wow! This was the best B&B I and my husband had pleasure to stay in over our two weeks in Sicily. Absolutely stunning! Congratulations to Giuseppe and his family for creating this amazing B&B. First of all, on first sight the rooms appear modest, however they are deceptively luxurious with fluffy white towels, beautifully smelling toiletries, freshly pressed and crisp... More

Situated on the road down to the Villa it's the perfect stopover for those wanting to visit the Villa and Morgantina. Giuseppe and his wonderful mother, Maria treat you like menbers of their own family, and whatever time of the day you arrive there is always someone on hand to welcome you with coffee, cold drinks or fruit salad. This B&B was fantastic. It is run by the family of the house which was very friendly and helpful. The room we had was very nice - and the breakfast was splendid with homemade marmelade etc and fruit from the garden (big one). Nice location for visiting Vila Romane de Casale and Morgantina.

The comfortable B&B Giucalem is located in an ample beautiful valley near Piazza Armerina in the Province of Enna - Sicily. The Bed and Breakfast is perfectly situated to visit the famous places like the “Roman Villa del Casale” with the mosaics of the 3rd century (5 min), Caltagirone and the beautiful stairway with majolica’s or the Greek theatre of Morgantina.
