I go lost in the area and arrived by chance to this beautiful hotel where the service was absolutely lovely and unique, we were offered to spend the day at the swimming pool, and loved it so much that we stayed, the view is splendid and the sceneny wonderful, very nice decoration, A MUST IN THE AREA

This is a lovely friendly agriturismo in a quiet rural setting, but very close to the lovely town of Piazza Armerina and the beautiful Villa Romana del Casale with its amazing mosaics. The staff could not have been friendlier and the evening meals were great.

Part of a 6 days tour of Sicily, this was the only place where I stayed twice on my several trips in Sicily. I feel it's the best in Piazza Armerina, rooms are a bit simple, not much decoration and this give you a feeling of "a bit cold" but this is the only thing I would improve at Salemi,... More

This is an extremely belated review of the four star rated Salemi Agriturismo! It was late August/early September 2014 when we visited but due to an oversight a review was not submitted. HOWEVER, I remember very well how much we enjoyed our overnight stay whilst visiting the nearby Roman Villa in Piazza Armerina. The location of Salemi is perfect for... More

The other Trip Advisor reviews are correct. This is a very attractive country inn with comfortable clean rooms, good food, scenic surroundings, a pool worth spending a few hours or more enjoying, and accommodating hosts. Villa Romana del Casale is a top destination in Sicily and worth any effort to visit it. Salemi is the place to stay while doing... More

What a beautiful place! Having already been in Taormina and Syracuse (and eventually heading to Agrigento, Trapani, and Palermo; all high energy and frenetic places), Agriturismo Salemi was literally a breath of fresh air in the Sicilian countryside. The facility is stunning. Our ground floor room opened onto a wonderful courtyard. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. It is somewhat... More

We stayed here so we could easily visit Cilla Romana and view the mosiacs. I was given instructions about how to find the Villa, there was no written information or brochure.Odd as I am sure may people stay for the same reason. The pool was amazing . We ate in the hotel and the wine and food were very well priced.Everyone... More

This is a beautiful place to stay.It is off the beaten track and situated overlooking a valley. The rooms are clean and spacious. The restaurant onsite provides gorgeous varied food at a very reasonable price. We stayed for several nights and no dish was repeated. The staff are friendly and helpful. The agriturismo is perfectly situated for exploring the area....visiting the... More

This nice hotel is a short car drive out of Town and close to visit Villa Romana. The swimming pool is great for the sunny weather and great views over rolling hills and a decent resturant meal (extra) - the meal was good and cheap. Only stayed one night wish I'd booked two. At Villa Romana no english tour guides... More

We were sorry to stay only one night here. While the narrow, windy road to reach the agriturismo was a bit heart-stopping at first, we realized the benefits of being off the beaten path. Quiet, with lovely views of the rolling hills nearby, Salemi was a nice change of pace. We almost had to tear ourselves away to visit one... More
