We stayed at Giovanni's recently when cycling through Sicily. Giovanni couldn't have been more accommodating allowing us to store our bikes upstairs in their apartment and providing us with a fantastic breakfast before we left. Having a kitchen to cook our dinner was just great and we really enjoyed the conversations we had with Giovanni who made us feel really... More

Owner Giovanni is exceedingly kind and helpful. Drove us to Villa Romana, helpful with onward connections. Creates welcoming congenial atmosphere among guests. Modest but clean room. Tasty breakfast, including products like pistachio spread from his enoteca. Piazza Armerina (in addition to the glorious mosaics outside town) is wonderfully atmospheric (walk it at night) and is free from the tourist hordes... More

A small hotel in the old section of town. Giovanni is delightful and very helpful. Delicious breakfast in a fun atmosphere. Easy to get to Villa Romano, if buses not running Giovanni will take you, also to bus stop. Find the local restaurant on the left side of the square in the far corner.

We stayed at B & B Umberto for one night and found the owners extremely welcoming and hospitable. Giovanni went out of his way to make our brief stay comfortable, even driving us to the Villa Romana, and then to the bus stop the following morning. Our room was very comfortable and Giovanni prepared an early, very tasty, breakfast for... More

We had a great stay here, arriving in Piazza Armerina without a pre booking we drove around and followed the signs to Umberto 33. Giovanni came up from his shop in the piazza and showed us to our room and helped my husband up the stairs with our very heavy suitcases. Breakfast was very enjoyable. We went and did our... More

We stayed here for one night. Giovanni found us in the main square of town, looking lost (he owns the enoteca right on the square) and offered us a room in his nice little place. Great location, very nice room. Breakfast was delicious with all sorts of local pastries. Then we had a great wine tasting at his shop. Highly... More

We found this great little B&B in the lonely planet guide, as there were no reviews on this site, we were a bit wary, but it worked out great. The LP review was spot on. This is a small b&b just off the main square, a great location. Spotlessly clean and Giovanni and his family were super friendly and helpful.... More

Very nice place, very clean, nice bathroom. Giovanni and his wife are extremely kind. The breakfast, prepared by Giovanni, is excellent. We stayed two days and he prepared completely different things. Nice city, go here, is very good. It is well located. All three rooms are nice, the best one is that with the balcony to the street.

Giovanni, his wife Lauradonna and daughter Gulia were such gracious hosts. They do not speak much English so brush up on your Italian so you can enjoy your conversations. Giovanni went out of his way to drive me to the Villa Romana after I arrived and to get my early morning buses to Agrigento and Palermo. He also proudly shared... More

We arrived Piazza Armerina in the afternoon and passed several B&Bs on our way through town, but none of them opened the door. Finally we found the Umberto33 which turned out to be the nicest little place. The B&B is situated in the busy main street, Via Umberto, with heavy traffic and difficult parking situation, but we finally found a... More
