Beautiful old country house, with antiques and art work that take you back to a simpler time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lovely hikes nearby. Also, delicious meals, including dinner and breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights at Villa Trigona. It is just outside of the town of Piazza Armerina on a piece of land that is large enough for a guest to take a short walk without leaving the property. Villa Trigona is in an old, Sicilian manor house. The hotel is attractive, clean and comfortable, and some of the staff members... More

We were very happy with our 3 night stay at Villa Trigona. I love these old characterful properties with tall ceilings and fairly large rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We ate at the villa for all 3 nights; it was 25 Euros pp, including wine and liqueur. There is no choice but we were brought a... More

I stayed here by chance, and really lucked out. It is a wonderful place to stop over when seeing the mosaics, and avoids the nightmare of driving in Piazza Armerina. Villa Trigona is still owned by the Trigona family, so staying here makes you feel as if you are the privileged guest at a house party; you are made feel... More

Some fellow travellers recommended this place and we ended up staying here for three nights on our honeymoon. The house and grounds are beautiful and steeped in history. The food is exquisite and the staff are very pleasant, in particular Hashmet who couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Very good value for money and in a great location... More

Villa Trigona is a charming country inn with a gracious staff. They serve a magnificent dinner very inexpensively. However, if, during your stay, any of their guests are babies or small children, it is unlikely that your experience will be restful. The noise they make reverberates at all hours. When they do stop, then the neighbor pack of dogs begins... More

This hotel is great if you want a nice place to relax. The staff are very helpful, parking is plentiful and secure. The pool is great and very well kept. The rooms are large and cleaned daily. Food, although good, isn't "wow" and could be more plentiful. They do cater for vegiterians, but very very limited choice.

Absolutely delightful. The house and the people , all the same are full of authenticity, nobility, and more over very welcoming. Food is excellent and it is so good to enjoy breakfast (most of it, home products) under secular trees. A place not to miss.

We stayed here as a pit stop when crossing the island and so we could visit the Roman villa with mosaics that is nearby. The house is very nice and the dinner was served in a beautiful courtyard and the food was very good. Because we got there around 7pm and left around 10am we did not get to use... More
