Lovely quirky b&b, staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms and bathrooms are immaculate. Canvas covered courtyard leads to a cave bar area for a cooler sit-out room. Small drawback is that it is difficult to get to with luggage. Loved the stay, conveniently close to the town centre, restaurants and shopping areas.

My son and I were very comfortable, the place is spotless and quiet and Lisa was very friendly and helpful. It is located right where everything is. You cannot park right next to it because it is on a "street" that is too narrow for cars, but that is part of the charm. Although we could have brought our bags,... More

Don't expect to drive up to the front door of Al Moro Locanda. Access is on foot through the ancient Arab area of town. But it can be done; I walk with the aid of sticks and made my way out and about. The stone steps can be steep and wheelchair access is out of the question. Several very good... More

We found it wandering around Sciacca. First we were supprised to find out that is hardly a B&B. Insied it looks rather like a boutique hotel. Everything was more than ok - rooms are clean, the common area is very nice, the breakfasts were nice, the whole interior is nice, the building itself is located in a center, but still... More

We happened upon Sciacca as a bit of an intended departure from the usual touristy spots (having been previously in Agrigento) so found ourselves here on spec and without somewhere to stay. Wandering around we passed a couple who suggested we try here and what a lovely surprise find. Travelling on foot and with very little luggage, we did not... More

A trick to find this place after an even frustrating drive. Then parking and carrying luggage down many steps it was good to be there. A great position although rooms a tad cell like. There is however a nice sitting area and bar. Location for seeing the area is good, take good walking shoes! The staff were lovely and helpful,... More

Modern little B&B situated in the heart of historic Sciacca. The way it is built the staircase to the hallway, where the rooms are, is outside so because of this the rooms can be quite drafty in November which is when we were there. Our hostesses were very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to many great cafes, shops and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Locanda Al Moro overnight during our trip in Sicily. We found Sciacca to be a great location as a stopover before continuing our journey to Burgio (Agrigento) to visit my family. We booked this hotel from New York 2 months before our arrival and had no issues with our reservation when we arrived. Please... More

The only downside of Locanda Al Moro is the lack of parking but as other reviewers have said, parking is difficult in all of Sciacca. Parking (and stairs) aside, this was a wonderful place to stay. The owner, Lisa, is an engaging, beaming host and so helpful - she even met us in one of the main squares to guide... More

Trip Advisor: Locanda Al Moro First, some caveats (these aren’t negative comments, but simply things that you should be aware of: The hotel is tricky to find – be sure to take the Sciacca exit on the East side of town (not any of the Western exits if you are coming from Palermo) then follow their website instructions to Via...
