Very clean rooms and bathroom, with a good traditional Italian breakfast. We stayed here for 1 night after reading reviews on TA and wasn't disappointed. Located down near the port, was a little tricky to find however thats how it rolls in Italy! Opposite is an empty derelict building, don't be put off as seemed to be a safe area.... More

Room was big, new and very comfortable. Simply decorated with all what is needed. Design and attractive. Got usefull recomendation for fish restaurant at food distance. Historical center nearby accessed using stairs. Breakfast next to reception desk with tv, creating a cosy and familiar environment. Sciacca is a good stop option on your way to Selinunte and the west of... More

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night which just by chance happened to be the night of the annual carnival. It's a long climb up to the town and the view outside is of a derelict building, but this adds to the character. The room was very nice, very arty! The breakfast was fine, the usual Italian fare.... stayed here for 1 night. The hotel was everything expected for a short overnight stay and breakfast was fine. Soundproofing needs to be improved as we could hear the person in the room next room snoring all night!!

This hotel was one of the best hotels I stayed in Sicily. It is modern and the rooms are perfect, clean, comfortable, functional. Zina the receptionist is originally from New York and this was a pleasant surprise and extremely helpful, as finding native English speakers in Sicily is difficult. She gave us a ton of recommendations from places to eat... More

The melqart hotel is a great hotel to stay in Sciacca. It is a great walking distance to the heart of Sciacca, extremely clean and brand new rooms. Breakfast is a prefect italian traditional meal and FREE WIFI. Zina the reception/front desk was absolutely fabolous at her job. She speaks fluently in italian and english. I felt so comfortable and... More

Right near the waterfront, a new, modern hotel with a very caring staff. There were restaurants nearby, one right at the corner, in fact, which makes the combination a winner. There were a few bars in the area, and the harbor is scenic at sunset. The view front the bluff in front of the old thermal baths is not to... More

Clean new hotel Only few minutes to town (upstairs ... at least 5-6 floors) Close to see but it is industrial area - so consider this place only for sleeping Not nice view from one or another side of hotel. Average breakfast - noting special. Air conditioning was not working perfectly ( unpleasant smell)

We stayed at the Melqart for a short stay and booked 4 rooms. All rooms were great, clean, air conditioning, 3 with balconies, one at the back of the hotel all on the 2nd floor which was reached by a lift. The bathrooms were large and spacey with hairdryers, shower cream and soap. each room had a fridge. The location as... More

The hotel is situated just by the sea, next to the port. It's a good place if you're coming by car and want to easily park it. It is not so good if you want to visit the city centre (that by the way has nothing of interest) or going for a dinner. You will have to climb the 200... More
