Hotel with great service and very nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. The air condition was not working properly in our room and there was a huge TV screen in the breakfast area which I find extremely annoying personally. Reasonable prices. In my book this hotel is better than many of the 4 star hotels I've been staying at.

We were passing through Sciacca, staying for 1 night, after visiting the ruins in Agrigento. The hotel is down near the working port, but with no view of the port, as it looks onto a closed down factory. So don't stay for the view or location, as you also have to walk up many, many steps to the town. However,... More

A very well run, modern hotel, down by the port. The rooms are well appointed and comfortably furnished. Externally, there is no amenity space which is a limiting factor but the hotel does have its own car park. The breakfast was of an above average quality. Excellent value for money.

A small hotel right on the coast. Beautiful breakfast consisting of delicious fruit, pastry and coffee! However, the receptionist does not speak English. Also, when I wanted to change the room to a room with the balcony, she wanted to charge 10 euros although the website said I could do it for 4 euros!

The hotel itself is well run and very modern. It is slightly out of the way down by the port but the centre can be reached by climbing a large number of stairs which are close to this Hotel. It is very clean and the staff is very helpful. Parking for one's car is no problem as ample parking next to... More

Stayed here on our way around the island. Communication was a small issue, as they didn't speak english. The rooms were nice and a little more roomy than usual Italian hotels. We stayed on the top floor, which has a balcony. Would highly recommend that, but you have to make sure it is on your reservation and remind them of... More

The Melqart is a very modern hotel close to the harbour; the town centre is about 10 minutes walk away but up a long flight of steps. The hotel rooms are very comfortable but with no decent outlook; the staff are excellent but there is no bar or restaurant on site. Breakfast is buffet style and very good. There is... More

Very clean rooms and bathroom, with a good traditional Italian breakfast. We stayed here for 1 night after reading reviews on TA and wasn't disappointed. Located down near the port, was a little tricky to find however thats how it rolls in Italy! Opposite is an empty derelict building, don't be put off as seemed to be a safe area.... More

Room was big, new and very comfortable. Simply decorated with all what is needed. Design and attractive. Got usefull recomendation for fish restaurant at food distance. Historical center nearby accessed using stairs. Breakfast next to reception desk with tv, creating a cosy and familiar environment. Sciacca is a good stop option on your way to Selinunte and the west of... More

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night which just by chance happened to be the night of the annual carnival. It's a long climb up to the town and the view outside is of a derelict building, but this adds to the character. The room was very nice, very arty! The breakfast was fine, the usual Italian fare....
