I was charmed when I saw Alberobello, and I was equally charmed when I saw that our self -catering Trullo was bang in the pedestrian area now a Unesco Heritage site. Arrival and check in were very smooth and the girl in the reception office was polite and helpful. The Trullo is tastefully, if simply, decorated with an IKEA cast... more

We stayed just one night at Trullo Cimmenere. The trullo has everything you need, small living room area, small dining room, kitchinette, bedroom and a big bathroom. We just loved the stay there. We had breakfast inside our trullo. We felt at home in Alberobello. Just to keep in mind, ask in advance where youn trullo is located. In our... more

We stayed 3 nights in a Trullo and loved it! The room was quite spacious and very clean. The kitchenette worked. On the 2nd floor, reachable by a ladder, a 3rd bed. The Trullo had a small, uncovered patio outside to relax and enjoy the view. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. To put it in a nutshell: A... more

One of our trip highlights. You've got to love Trulli to make the effort to get here, but we had a ball. Honestly, you can "do" Alberobello in about 4 hours. But, we explored the country side and I got up at dawn to shoot photos. The restaurant they used for full board (La Locanda de Don Antonio)was truly great.... more

While you can’t match the experience of actually staying inside a trullo, the truth is that all of their charm is on the outside. Our trullo was up a very long hill, unreachable by car, which was a problem with our heavy luggage. Inside, the trullo had plenty of space – kitchen, bathroom, living area, a nook for the bed... more

Great little "trulli" (kind of round cottages, with very few and very small windows). OK, don't expect luxury, these were initially modest village houses. The smallest bathroom/WC combo I ever saw in my life! But it is definitely a unique experience. Very efficient, sympathetic and multilingual staff at the "take your keys and directions" spot. For some funny reason this... more

We were presented with a two bedroom Trulli on a side street in Alberobello and could not have been more pleased. At $50 per day it included a small kitchenette with fridge used prepare breakfast every day from items bought at the local mercato and butcher shop. The bath was clean and bright with plentiful towels. The only drawback was... more

The Trullidea was great, our trulli was clean, comfortable (the bed was one of the best I've slept on in Italy) and you can't beat the location - right in the middle of Alberobello - or the price, we paid 86 Euro for 2 beds and a small kitchenette. Trulli great! Definitely recommend. more

Trullidea is exceeded expectations: immaculate, roomy, authentic wrought iron and hand made furniture, big bathroom, like living in history only comfy. Fluent English spoken by staff, great shops and restaurants in the area. Don't miss this one! We even had a fireplace! more

What can you say about staying in your own little round house! It is fantastic...quaint...quirky...The houses are well equipped, ours had its own kitchenette. The town is charming, and the Italian restaurant 'Il Pinnacolo' just up Via Monte Nero from the Trullidea reception office was our best meal of the holiday! more
