This was our second stay at Borgo Tranquillo and it certainly will not be our last! Having holidayed in Italy for over fifteen years, we have found our share of wonderful places to stay in Tuscany, Umbria and now the Marches. But nowhere have we found the wonderful combination of location, apartment, facilities and - above everything else - ambience... More

We stayed at Borgo Tranquillo two years ago for our honeymoon and could think of no better place to return to this summer for a bit of R&R before the arrival of our first child. For us, Frank and Ariane have created something truly special, not just in the fabulous setting and design of the apartments, clubhouse and pool, but... More

We have stayed with our two young children at Borgo Tranquillo for a couple of weeks every summer for the last six years, and we can honestly say that the Borgo is an extraordinary, delightful, and searingly beautiful haven and hideaway, hidden away up in the still and rolling hills near Archevia in the yet-to-be-discovered Le Marche region of Italy.... ariane and frank were perfect hosts, helpful and discreet. Borgo Tranquillo is a jewel which fits perfectly into the charming landscape. We had a very pleasant time and recommend le marche and Borgo tranquillo to those who are looking for a peaceful stay and who take pleasure in well designed living.

Our stays at Borgo Tranquillo have been like small delightful “pockets of tranquility”. Let’s put it this way: the summer is just not the same without..... Even our children (4 and 6 yrs) feel there are no perfect summer without our annual week in paradise :-) Next summer we will return for our fourth time. The photos gives the impression... More

Our stay for two weeks at Borgo Tranquillo was our most beautiful and best vacation in Italy ever. We’ve bin in Italy many times and stayed in beautiful places but this place beats everything. The combination of the beautiful residence, great and kind services of Ariane and Frank and the stunning views, made that we decided to come back another... More

We are reluctant to write a good review as we really don't want too many people to discover this beautiful villa positioned in such a stunning setting! Over the years we have holidayed in most of the usual tourist locations in Italy, usually in small boutique hotels. This time we fancied something different and our initial apprehension melted away as... More

My husband and I stayed at Borgo Tranquillo this July for our honeymoon. I must say the Ryanair flight there took it out of us, but arriving at the Borgo, we were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco and shown around the grounds. In our Villa Frank and Adriane put another bottle of Prosecco into our fridge and even left... More

Borgo Tranquillo luxury Villa and Apartments are set in 15 acres in a spectacular hilltop setting amid the rolling Le Marche countryside. From the club area a sweeping staircase leads you down to the hammam and sauna with the large black infinity pool beyond. Landscaped gardens with loungers around the pool offer peace and tranquillity.Gardens:The woodlands around Borgo Tranquillo have been cleared for you to enjoy. Hammocks for an afternoon siesta, reading in the shade, or walk through the woodlands to the fruit orchard and further up and along to our own little ‘mountain’ with a seating area to experience a perfect sunset . Picnic areas have been ‘hidden’ around the estate some through the bushes, others in the woodlands find these through a labyrinth of walkways, while picking plums, cherries, peaches or blackberries along the way, then finally enjoy a quiet moment or picnic hidden away…A 2.5 km footpath has been created along the Borgo border, prefect for a stroll, jog through the 15 acres of ground.
