I cannot recommended Villa Clelia highly enough. The owner was extremely welcoming and approachable. He went out of his way to help us find good places to eat and to give us information about getting around Cinque Terre. I loved Levanto and definitely want to return for a few more days of relaxing in this beautiful town. Villa Clelia has... More

Sorry, big hotels, chains, sorry guys with ties on reception, sorry mass production, but I tend to like more and more places like this, tiny little b&b's, where the owner is the same guy, who gets you fresh bread in the morning, where you feel yourself at easy sipping coffee from a coffee machine all to yourself, sitting in the... Nicola has a great place in Levanto as a launching point for a stay in Cinque Terra region. How about a common area outside to drink you favorite red wine and smoke a cigar! Fridges in room to store a beer or two as well. Nothing formal on the Breakfast side just fresh bread at your door at 7AM with... More

Breakfasts on our quiet, sun-filled balcony were a real treat with croissants and rolls fresh from the bakery. The accommodations were clean and comfortable; the location near the beach was pleasant for evening strolls. The family-proprietors provided helpful advice on nearby eateries, including one of the best seafood restaurants we experienced in Italy. We were particularly grateful for the ride... More

The best thing about the place was the really outstanding, friendly service. I also enjoyed being in a neighborhood setting where you could see more of Italian life, but it's still close to food and the beach. It's about a 15 - 20 minute walk to the train station (or a flat 10 euro taxi ride). The rooms are nothing... More

After you go through their gates, you're in your own little world. A very pretty courtyard with space to socialize with fellow guests if you so wish. The family that run this place are among the friendliest people we met in Italy (and that's saying something!). The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with a small balcony for each one... More

The owner's father (Nicola) picked us up from the train station, which was really considerate and the hotel itself was well located next to the beach and the active part of town. The room was very comfortable and clean, well decorated, we had a nice patio in front of the garden where we enjoyed an awesome breakfast in the morning.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with my best friend in the middle of our trip through Italy. We absolutely loved the place and found the owner extremely friendly. One of the most friendly people we met in Italy in fact! We were picked up from the train station, and dropped off again when we left. Very handy as while not... More
