Good location to explore Cinque Terra as close to train station. Less than impressed with this 'once grand', now very very dated hotel. Rooms are very small, lack of useable furniture, very basic...spartan comes to mind. Bed as hard as a bale of hay. Wifi barely adequate. It's hot summer and room air conditioner doesn't do anything except vibrate. Front... More

As they say, it's all about location. The Dora has that much going for it. Unfortunately I can't say much more good... Disclaimer: the staff was EXCEPTIONALLY accommodating and super friendly. I wanted to like this place so much just because of them and how good they were, but unfortunately I don't sleep on the staff - usually - but... More

We stayed at the apartment across the street from the hotel. The rooms were simple, bright with florescent lighting which made everything look a little blue and cool. We enjoyed dinning in the kitchen and the deck, thought there was no couch for lounging around. There were kitchen supplies, but every thing looked a little worn and needed a little... More

As a family of 4 we booked a 2 bedroom apartment and were amazed at the size of the place. The apartment was actually across the road from the hotel . It had 2 huge bedrooms , a superb fully equipped kitchen , a very large living area and a beautiful balcony looking over the street just perfect for a... More

We were lucky to find Hotel Dora, because it had good parking, great service, and plentiful breakfast options. The rooms were comfortable, and its location is perfect for visiting Cinqe Terre. Most amenities are within easy walking distance. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel Dora is very good value for money.Would definately stay there again.

We were looking a hotel room close to Cinque Terre area but not inside that. Levanto is good place for that, you can get to attractions very easy by boat or train. Owner was nice and very helpful. Rooms typical italian, but bed was good and room was clean. They have private car parking, which help a lot. Slow wifi.... More

We chose Levanto as a base for visiting Cinque Terre rather than La Spezia as it sounded a nicer place to stay. Hotel Dora is basic, but comfortable - rooms are air conditioned which is handy (although it can be a little noisy), bathrooms clean and showers hot & powerful. There are shutters on the outside of the windows which... More

Hotel Dora provides very basic to poor bed and breakfast accommodation. Unfortunately we could not get Wi-Fi access, had a very uncomfortable sunken bed, a broken safe and when we went down to breakfast one morning were told they'd run out of everything except prune cake because a tour group had eaten early. The location was good but we would... More

We stayed there for one night on our visit to Cinque Terre, the location is great, the rooms are basic but nice and there's parking in front of the hotel too. Breakfast was OK but it gets very busy, to try to go early to avoid the crowds.

Me and my husband just returned from our holiday in Italy. We stayed in this B&B for one night during the low season. The good things about this B&B: ***It is very good location for exploring Cinque Terre. Levanto is quiet town on the west side of Cinque Terre. Most people choose La Spezia for stopping, but parking there is... More
