We were a family group of 5. Villa Margherita was recommended to us. Paola suggested Glicine apartment just along the road. It was just ideal. Spotlessly clean, nothing to complain about. Each morning we breakfasted at Villa Margherita, included in our rate. Ideal location for Cinque Terre walks, helpful information given when checking in.

Was here for three nights in September. This is a privately owned property with the owners involved in the daily operation. Owners and staff are friendly and accommodating. Room was as described. Very clean. An excellent breakfast each morning. Used the hotel as a base for day hiking trips in the Cinque Terra. Without baggage, train station is a short... More

We stayed in Villa Margherita by the Sea in Sept/Oct 2014. We were happy to be in Levanto and somewhat removed from the Cinque Terre, but able to access it easily by train. Our check in process was smooth - we arrived by train. Our room was comfortable and very quiet . . European in feel. . .no chain hotel... More

Our trip to Levanto was to visit a friend in Bonassola during the Festa della Madonna del Rosario. Rooms in Bonnasola were impossible due to the crowds for the festa. Villa Margherita provided the perfect location. Very short walk to the train station, and also has easy access to the pedestrian walk way connecting Levanto to Bonassola. We walked back... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in early September in the cabin. Cabin has private garden which was landscaped beautifully, a excellent place to relax at the end of the day. Cabin was fairly spacious and had everything you would need such as utensils, linen, towels etc. Breakfast was good, staff friendly. About 10 minute walk to beach or center of... More

We went from Pisa to Levanto by train and then taxi to Villa Margherita. Easy travels. Located just a 5 minute walk to train station. Rooms large and bathrooms large. We had a room on the upper garden level. Breakfast begins at 8:00 am...a very nice dining area and a great selection of breakfast foods. Wine and water available during... More

Good little hotel in Levanto, very lovely and quaint. The rooms are small and very old school but nice at the same time, although shower is quite small. The only major complaint about the room is that the bed was very uncomfortable, I almost dreaded going to sleep. The breakfast is average, nothing great about it had the necessities. Would... More

I have just finished another week's stay at the Villa Margherita which is a testimonial to how special it is and how consistent the service, staff, cleanliness and hospitality has been over the years. The graciousness of every person there is the key ingredient to making a stay there so memorable. Levanto is the perfect place to see the Cinque... More

We stayed at Villa Margherita for two nights. The hotel is on a hillside and there are two entrances (bottom and top). We called on arrival because we didn't know where to park, and the owner said he would meet us at the top entrance. We pulled into the gated driveway, unloaded the car, and then he parked it in... We did not stay, but stopped to have lunch, which was in the garden, overlooking the sea, a beautiful location. Service was excellent, food was amazingly good, way better than similar places close by we have used in the past. Owners extremely pleasant, all in all we definitely intend to return.
