Wow, we had such an amazing time in Levanto and the surrounding area, thanks mostly to our wonderful experience at A Durmi and the lovely A Durmi sisters! The service we received here was just amazing. The A Durmi sisters helped us pick out excellent restaurants, rent bikes, find the best local pizza, and made us feel like locals! They... More

This family run hotel is located inside Levanto, therefor parking may be difficult. Chiara and her sister are very friendly, probably a bit over-talkative, but very helpful in getting to know your way around the 5 Terre. Breakfast is basic, the rooms are not well isolated (exciting noises from someone's neighbours)and the bathroom is sparsely furnished with goodies and hooks.... More

So glad we stayed in Levanto, away from the craziness and crowds in the Cinque Terre. Mostly locals, some tourists, wonderful restaurants and reasonable prices. We loved Ciara and Eliza and their Papa, they were full of tips and info for day trips. A unique property with several types of apartments and rooms. We had a small room with a... More

Enjoyed an excellent stay. Had a quiet room in amongst the delightful vegetable garden. Were met on day 1 by our delightful host who took 30 mins out of her day to help us make the most of our time in Levanto and Cinqueterre complete with maps and restaurant recommendations. It was my wife’s birthday and we were even presented... More

Awesome hotel in Cinque Terre area. Very reasonable rates for the area. Very clean. Found through Rick Steves' Italy tour book. Elisa, the proprietor went above and beyond. She drew us maps of the area showing where to find the restaurant we wanted to eat at in Vernazza. Showed us how to get to the train station and had a... More

We cancelled our reservations in Venice to tack on a 5 night here. Stayed in the apartment with my wife and two young boys and loved it. The perfect base to explore the Cinque Terre from or just hang out on the beach. Family owned and operated by wonderful people...incredible gardens to wake up to each morning...expert advice and a... A Durmi is a great place to stay in the charming town of Levanto, just outside the sometimes crazy busy Cinque Terre. Location is terrific: there's a small grocery right outside the door, a bakery two minutes away by foot, a coop for fruit and vegetables two minutes away by foot in the other direction, a butcher just as close... This was our second stay in Levanto, and I would definitely stay at A Durmi again should we go back. Finding decent accommodation in the Cinque Terre area is a bit of a challenge and most hotels seem a bit run down. A Durmi was however recently renovated and the rooms are quite big, plus everything is spotlessly clean. Elisa... More

My family of 3 stayed here for 2 nights. Chiara and Elisa were welcoming and super informative on the area and how to best view the Cinque Terra. The common courtyard is charming with plenty of seating. Room #1 is where we stayed. It was spotless, nicely furnished and had ample room for us. When we were considering on staying... More

I can't recommend this hotel enough, the family that run it are the most friendly, helpful people. It is excellently located, 5 minute walk from the train station and 5 minute walk in the opposite direction to the beach. There is a beautiful communal garden and terrace, on site parking that is very reasonable, and a lovely friendly atmosphere. If... More
