A GEM in Ischia! I have always used a travel agent when booking my holidays abroad BUT this time I decided to book myself. The GEM I found was the Hotel Capizzo . From my first email to Resti ( front desk) I felt that I had made a good choice. Being on the very fussy side she answered my... More

I had a mixed experience here. To start with the good - the pool area is excellent, really a tranquil place with plenty of sun, great views, and lovely warm, thermal pool. The hotel was pretty clean, although ants were quite common. On the downside, my room was tiny, and the promised balcony looked out at a crumbling grey wall,... More

Have stayed there 2 nights only and truly enjoyed our stay. The location is very nice, walking distance to the sea and close to a public bus stop. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was good for 3 star hotel. We lived on the first floor with an access to garden and pool area. Great view from upper floors. Room was spacious... More

This hotel has the most beautiful location, overlooking the panoramic Bay of Chitara. The hotel itself has beautiful flowers and plants and terraces and a thermal pool. You can enjoy yourself while looking out on the beautiful sunset over the bay. The rooms have terraces which is great for a single traveler. I paid a few euros more, but got... More

Overall, a very good small 3 star hotel. We had magnificent views from our room (and the hotel dining room, terrace and pool) out across the beautiful bay of Citara. Staff were great: Ciro and Augusto in the dining room were good fun and really looked after us, while reception were really helpful and friendly (special mention for Libera). Grazie... More

This nice small hotel offers a lot: friendly staff, a nice garden, a nice pool with sea view, rooms with airconditioning/fridge and sea view and a nice restaurant. The hotel offers also several massages. Since 2005 I've been here several times. For me this is an excellent place for the summer holidays. I hope to stay here again soon.

We just came back from a lovely week-end in Forio on the island of Ischia. We chose a small hotel 500 meters away from the Thermal Park Poseidon, the best on the island. The hotel is small and just 50 meters away from the stop of buses going from Forio towards Sant'Angelo. It overlooks the bay of Citara and is... More
