My initial impression was made on arriving late in the evening after a long days travel. I thought at that stage the bedroom seemed small but actually the room was fine in size because as usual I was in it little. The only thing is that the walls are paper thin.

The hotel has had much refurbishment and the bedrooms and main hotel areas were in very good condition. The bar area was very good and relaxing being by the pool which I also thought to be pleasant even if the bugs do bite a little (a problem in the area not just this hotel).

To me the real negative of the hotel is the quality of the food which whilst not terrible could have been better. The breakfast sufficed but only just (unusual custard filled croissants!!). Dinner by the end of the week was not a meal to enjoy and thus we went out and ate very well with well done simple Italian food.
