I don't often write reviews, usually I'm motivated by an exceptional experience and Villa Maria provided just that! We stayed for 2 nights and were made to feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived. Vincenzo (owner) greeted us with the most delicious orange/lemon juice (freshly squeezed of course from the grove) along with the perfectly balanced... More

We stayed in "downtown" Minori for 10 days and were looking for a change from the restaurants in town. I found Villa Maria on TripAdvisor and made a reservation. What a treat it was! After some contradictory advice from our hotel about getting there (walk, it's not far; take the bus, it's too far to walk), we decided to walk.... More

A really nice authentic Italian atmosphere! Excellent view over the small village 150 meters below and the coast line. Small, but comfortable rooms with separate balconies. Very friendly staff. Watch out for the many steps up and down – they will keep you busy and healthy 

We stayed here 2 years ago and had no hesitation in returning with our 2 daughters and son in law. The climb up from the road is rewarded with a great welcome stunning views and excellent food. The food and wine is home grown and tastes superb. Would definitely return again in the future.

My husband and I stayed here for a week in June, and enjoyed our time. Minori is a very relaxing place, with a beautiful beach and cute shops. We walked from the beach all the way up to Villa Maria almost each day...574 steps (UP!) by our count. We appreciated the exercise so we could tuck into Maria's four course... More

Four days of the best service, the best food ever (thank you Maria), most beautiful views of Minori and the Amalfi coast. It can be a good hike to Minori and back, but then you are so ready for dinner! We got the half board, so we had dinner at the Villa every night, and had lunch in Minori. Thank... More

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Villa Maria and I miss it very much! Vincenzo and Maria are so kind and welcoming and it feels very special to to be part of such a beautiful place. The food is delicious, all ingredients are freshly picked from the garden and even the hams are homemade! All rooms... More

This is absolutely a once in a lifetime experience! We were only able to stay one night, but wish we could have stayed longer under the lemon trees. Even with our high hopes (from all the reviews and press) they still managed to exceed our expectations. All the meals were spectacular, even our light antipasti lunch of fresh and grilled... More

Fantastic wiews to the sea from high above the little town of Minori-just some minutes walk uphill. Cosy apartments with full-extras. The kitchen deserves some Michelin-stars-the sooner, the better! The owners run all the place by themself so the helping service from them is always surrounding you:Maria,Nadia,Vincenzo: I'll be thankfull to them forever for giving us a very friendly athmosphere! We stayed 3 nights in late May having had Villa Maria on our bucket list since seeing it on James Martin's Mediterranean cooking show. I emailed through a request and confirmation was quick and secured by a single night's fee. Villa Maria is high up above Positano so you can get there from town by walking (a big uphill walk),...
