My wife, almost 2 yeat old daughter and I stayed 2 nights in here. The atmosphere was great. We really enjoyed delicious dinner and conversations with other guests. Furthermore, we enjoyed the cooking class. We can't speak Italian, but we could ask detail information from her friend who speaks English. We want to stay here again if we can go... More

My wife and I stayed at Nonno Tobia for a few nights in the summer of 2014, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We stayed in the 'edora/ivy' room, and it was perfect for just the two of us. Maria went out of her way to make us feel both comfortable and welcome. We enjoyed eating dinner with them... More

I'll add my excellent review to others. Maria is great. Wonderful visit. She is the hostess with the mostess. Great local food and lest I forget the homemade wine!!! Maria was able to help me out with a scheduling problem on a trip to Pompeii. The bus schedule is a little tricky so do your homework.

My daughter and I stayed a week at Nonno Tobia in September. The best way to describe the experience is that it was like living with your favorite family members. Maria and Tobia were extremely inviting and helpful. Together they made our vacation an amazing one. Each morning they would help us to plan our transportation and site-seeing for the... More

We´ve spent a great week at Nonno Tobia. Great place, great food, great rest. Maria and her family make you feel at home and help you out with everything. She even invited all the guests to a splendid dinner with her family and friends for her birthday! The house is really nice, the food she cooks is amazing and the... More

Most definitely the best place we stayed in our two week trip to Italy. This agriturismo is an excellent value set up in the mountains above the Amalfi coast. Maria is a warm, wonderful matriarch who serves up love with her home-cooked meals. She also gives Italian cooking lessons! Her adult son Tobia was energetic, extremely helpful, and spoke English... We stayed there only one night, on a hikiing trip around the Amalfi coast. It was a great experience. The rooms were comfortable, and clean. The dinner included was truly first-rate! Multiple courses served family-style. We met several couples there, and it was friendly, varied, and altogether charming. Would have happily stayed longer. Only thing is there was no airconditioning.... More

Our only regret is that we didn't get more than two nights at Nonno Tobia! Just after we arrived, Maria quickly got us settled into our lovely room, gave us a tour of the grounds, and went over our itinerary to make sure we had everything we needed to have the best experience possible (which was fortunate since we had... Wife and I spent a week there and we loved it. Our host Maria is a charming dynamo, who will assist guests in every way. If you are looking for a rural experience e.g. Mountains, sounds and smells of rural life and sensational food, this is it. We dined there every night, could have gone out to other restaurants, but... More

We stayed for 4 nights at NonnoTobia. It was very nice. the family who runs the place were super inviting, the food is excellent. Rooms were good. There is a big breakfast and amazing dinner (one setting around a big mixed table). Only downside is that it is not close to the cetric tourist attraction (45mn from the beach or... More
