Our stay in this hotel with our 2 adult children was really good. We requested interconnecting room and our requested was granted without fuss. Rooms were spacious and clean, beds very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and were happy to help us with whatever we requested. Nothing was too difficult Great staff, We dined at the hotel restaurant twice and... More

We found this hotel as a convenient stopover on our way to Sicily from Rome. I picked it based on location and price so I had no high expectations. It's quite the place. From the vehicle in the lobby to the well decorated common areas, the 501 has character. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was... More

We spent a night here on our way north from Sicily. It is a good place for a stop-over as the beds are comfortable, it is clean and up to the standard one would ask from a business- type hotel. The views are good, but the rooms which have the pretty view towards the sea overlook the road that runs... More

Stayed at the 501 on several occasions. It's a solid, clean hotel with a super nice staff. There are better laces to stay if you are looking for a quaint little Calabrian villa, but if you're there on business and need the accommodations for meetings and so forth, this is a great place to stay.

My wife and I stayed at "501 Hotel" for 3 nights as part of our tour of Rome, Calabria and Sicily in May, 2012. "501" was centrally located for our day trips around Calabria. The rooms were large and very clean. We had a great view out to the Mediterranean and there were some small mountain islands out in the... More

On a NIAF Unitour, stayed at the Hotel 501 in Vibo Valentia for a week in May, 2009. It seems that 501 has something to do with automobiles because there is an antique car in the lobby. Rooms were clean, neat and comfortable. Breath taking views of the coast and Mediterranean from the room (sea side with balcony). Hotel is... More

Went there for a week long NIAF tour. The hotel was great but some of the staff forgot that the people on the tour were Italian. The staff made some poor comments about the Americans, but almost everyone understood what they said and told them so. That aside the hotel is a shot walk to Vibo Valentia and the town... More

We stayed a total of 5 nights in this hotel. There was absolutely no problem in checking in or out. Our room was very large, nicely furnished and we had a fabulous ocean view. . Housekeeping is prompt in cleaning your room. The only problem we had was the in-room internet was not working while we were there but the... More
