Windmill offers excellent value for money and is well located in the main town of Naxos. George and his mother are both extremely friendly and helpful. George will both pick you up and drop you off at the port, even though it is only around a ten minute walk. The rooms are clean and very large with balcony, lounge, kitchen... More

I loved this place. The room was excellent, and George was incredibly helpful. He picked us up from the port and took us back, and was a font of useful information about Naxos. The rooms were excellent, and spotless to boot, not to mention it was incredibly inexpensive. I'm paying more for a bed in a hostel in Athens right... More

This place may not be new, but it is well located and each room features everything you need. The wifi particularly, unlike other hotels, is well set-up with repeaters on each floor to maintain good consistent coverage. The staff are friendly and pay attention to the important things. The prices are great also - dinner will likely cost you more... More

Arrived at the port, and not only was George waiting, but he recognised me before I was able to read his "Windmill" placard, from my prior visit 16 months ago. As before, clean, comfortable, and everything you need, together with great value and a really helpful family. If you want 'flashy' go somewhere else, people like me return (and give... More

Windmill Naxos is in Chora in the city, provides pick up and drop facilities which is great, and is close to a supermarket, rental agencies and next to the family friendly beach 0.3 KM away where there are taverns where the waves reach near your feet. The place was nicely furnished with a small well equipped kitchen. Very well maintained... More

Our stay at Windmill Naxos was pleasant. George, the owner, was really friendly. He picked us up from the port upon our arrival and he also transferred us there upon our departure. He gave us a map and directions to get to the best places at Naxos. Our room was clean and spacious. It had everything we needed, even a... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay here. George, the owner was very helpful and friendly. It's a 10 min walk to central square. the price is very reasonable for a basic room. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Windmill Naxos!!! I will start by saying that it is the best deal you will get for a double room ever! You might think that being so inexpensive will come with no service, but it was not the case. Immediately after booking the room, we received an email from George asking us the details... More

I had a pleasant stay here in July 2013. The hotel is situated in the outskirts or Naxos town, just a short (5-10 minute) walk from both the main promenade, port, bus station and beach. George picked me up from the port and was very helpful, giving me a run-down of the must-see places in Naxos. The room was basic,... More

We had a nice spacious room at the top. This comes with a huge balcony were you actually can see the sea. (Not very clear though) You could easily fit in a family there without being very crowded. This is a typical backpacker hotel. So for us not being the average backpacker, the only room we would have stayed in,... More
