We stayed for 3 nights in July. We were warmly greeted and made to feel welcome throughout our stay. The room was cleaned daily and the breakfast was your typical light European. The location of the hotel was perfect for us and there was no need to hire a car or bike. The hotel backs straight onto the St George... More

We spent two weeks on three islands and this was our first stop. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach with an easy stroll into the centre. Very friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast. Rooms simply furnished and clean. Easy to catch public transport ( tickets purchased beforehand from the bakery!) Worth travelling into the mountain villages and... More

On the beach at St George Naxos. A lovely, friendly family run hotel. Ideally on the water and only a casual 10 minute walk along the beach and waterfront into Naxos Town. Very friendly people that run this hotel. The rooms are small but make sure you get up on the 2nd level and you'll get a nice little balcony straight... More

We've stayed at a lot of budget hotels across Greece and the Greek islands and, in our opinion, this is by far one of the best for the price. For 60 euro a night for a double (70 euro for a triple), we had an ocean-front room on the top level with BEAUTIFUL direct sea views from our balcony overlooking... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in room 102. Hotel is right on the beach and rooms overlook the beach. Perfect position just minutes from the centre. Rooms clean with fridge, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Aircon efficient and quiet. Patio with table and two chairs. Breakfast ok.

We incidentally found this hotel in Naxos City, right on St George's Beach. Easy walking distance to town centre. Breakfast very minimal, at extra 5 euros per person. Staff very accommodating, even volunteered transfers to airport. If you're after budget, this is great value without compromising the experience. Very hard to negotiate around here, because of one way streets. Food... More

My husband and I stayed in Hotel Asteria for 3 nights. The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate and clean with air-con, fridge, small bathroom and balcony. Its really the location of this hotel that makes it special, its right on the beach and only 10 mins walk from town with lots of restaurants and shops in between. Sea views... More

We stayed here as part of an island hopping package for three nights at the end of September. Located on Agios Georgiou beach which is about a 10 minute walk away from the port area. You can either walk along the beach/waterfront or inland through a shopping area with myriad shops and restaurants. There are loads of restaurants, coffee bars,... More

Two of us spent 8 nights in early September at the Asteria. The hotel is run by two brothers and their spouses. The hotel is clean, quiet and safe. The hotel is located on St. George Bay with a beach that is well suited for all users. The bottom shoals gradually suiting children and waders, with avid swimmers having access... More

Hotel Asteria is your basic Greek accommodation very clean and in a brilliant location - have your breakfast on the terrace nip down the stairs onto the beach. Hotel is well maintained and very clean. Towels and bedding were changed every other day. The bathrooms are small but more than adequate for its purpose and there is plenty of hot... More
