We arrived at Naxos at midnight and did not want to worry about finding the hotel so we arranged a pick up. If we did not arrange a pick up I will admit we would definately have had a hard time finding the place. We stayed for 4 nights and loved every minute of our stay in Naxos and in... more

I booked 2 bedrooms for 5 days holiday in Naxos on March 2009. Mr Dimidri confirmed me availability for the 2 bedrooms in Anixis Hotel, which is located in the old town centre, next to the castle. When it came the day of our arrival (27th august), Mr Dimitri had already given our rooms to someone else, so he took... more

Very nice hotel in a great location ONCE YOU FIND IT. Which is incredibly difficult to do. It is deep in the labyrinth of stepped tiny arcaded corridors that are called “streets” in Naxos. Delightful to wander around, but not with your bags (and we only had one 18 inch each) looking for the hotel. They need to either give... more

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Anixis for 4 nights. We were met by Dimitris at the Port and driven to the hotel. The hotel has 2 levels of rooms and we were on the higher floor. Our room had 2 twin beds pushed together, a desk, TV (never used), mini fridge and a cabinet for clothes. The room... more

This hotel is amazing value for money, warm friendly service and whilst basic everything you need and very clean. Perfect location for all the restaurants, bars and beach but far enough away to be peaceful. Room 27 has a four poster bed and lots of space. Great views from the window whilst sat eating your breakfast. Love it ... a... more

For starters, if we didn't drive Dimitrious crazy with our shifty travel plans, I don't know what does. Due to the May 1 'labor day', our arrival time kept changing. Eventually we were going to disembark at 5am (and Dimitrious gladly said he would pick us up) but the 2 of us slept through the port stop. We felt horrible... more

Anixis is located just outside the Kastro walls in Naxos. It is up the hill, but just a gem among the other rooms to let around that we saw. It is very clean and the hotel manager is most helpful. He made some calls for us to rent a car (and the lady came to the hotel to pick us... more

Stayed at the Anixis in June 2008. Quite an adventure locating the Anixis through the winding alleys. The hotel manager was really friendly and helpful. We were not acommodated in the main building, we were located in a traditional apartment just 100 yards down the alley way, but this just added to the authenticity of our stay. Breakfast was taken... more

If you're in the main portion of this hotel, it is quite lovely. Rooms are small but clean. Finding the hotel is an adventure given Naxos's winding alleyways, but you are never lost for long. Beware, however, if you are put in a room that isn't close to the lobby. Some rooms are up a very steep set of stairs... more

Located in the fascinating old city, right below the Venetian Castro, this hotel is lovely. It is a series of rooms with small balconies overlooking an enclosed garden, with views to the sea. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful - the breakfast was delicious. You must be willing to walk some steep medieval steps to get here, but the... more
