Our stay in this hotel was very pleasant. We had a spacious and comfortable room. Limited analogue selection of German television channels. Situated right next to the railroad, so to fully enjoy this hotel you should like to see and hear fast moving trains, as I do. Breakfast buffet was not the most varied we have ever seen, but adequate.... More

This hotel was readily visible when we stepped off the DK. Bright airy room. Great little balcony overlooking the river. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her dinner at Strussers, th in-hotel restaurant. (I opted for something simpler near by.) 97 euros for 2 with breakfast. Would have been less without a balcony. Town itself was charming. Included a former castle converted... More

The hotel is located on the city walls in Bacharach. The hotel has spacious rooms and is extremely clean. Most rooms have a great view of the city. The service is great. The hotel restaurant is one of the best restaurant's I've been to in Germany. There is parking next to the hotel and additional parking across the street from... More

We went to bacharach after finalized this charming hotel other than other location along Rhien river and it was a right decision. it was near from train station, only 5-10 mins walk. As we entered the town its almost like we entered another different world with all medieval charming. And the best part is the room, it was no where... More

My wife and I, while on a Christmas driving holiday, wandered into town and were directed to this hotel, as one of the few open at this time of the year. What a find. The hotel is family run, our room was very comfortable and even though we overlooked a busy train line, was very quiet. An added bonus was... More

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Germany. We were there to visit the Christmas Markets and my brother. While there we made a short stop to Bacharach. We'd read in a reliable Travel guide that the Rhein Hotel was the place to stay. I don't about any of the other hotels because this time of year... More

Bacharach is the most charming and beautiful town along the middle Rhine. The Rhein Hotel, which is literally on the old town wall, is a perfect, centrally located place to stay. We got the standard breakfast with our room and we opted for the half board dinner while there. The personalized pre fixe menus, reserved dining table and excellent staff... More

Nice family hotel, clean room with all the basic amenities, friendly staff, and amazing food (both breakfast and dinner). The only drawback for us was the proximity to the railway line. Although we booked well in advance, we got a room at the back of the hotel (no air conditioning). We found that with the windows open, the train noise... More

It is really hard for me to rate this hotel because everything about it was wonderful except for one thing...but it was a big thing. We chose this hotel because it advertises that some of its rooms are air conditioned, an amenity which is difficult to find in the area. We were promised an air conditioned room but what we... More

This was our first hotel on our vacation, and we weren't disappointed! The owner/chief was charming and so helpful. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the Rhine. It was great to sit out with a glass of wine and watch the barges go by. Great location for either driving, trains (station a couple blocks away), or ferry (docks... More
