A great hotel! I'm very happy that we've chosen this hotel for our stay. We've been there only for 2 nights, but it was really great. Beautiful and clean rooms, quiet, although it is in the town center, the staff was very friendly (with our dog, too) and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The breakfast was very tasty!... Located 2 mins from the river, the jetty and in the town. Beside the railway line (busy), but surprisingly quiet in the hotel. Great service. The owners could not do more. Everyone is treated personally. The rooms are comfortable 3*. Nothing special. Functional. Bathrooms poor. The indoor swimming pool is great after a day out walking, cycling or exploring. The... We enjoyed this small hotel which is in the cute town of Bacharach. It is a three star hotel and the rooms are small and bathrooms OK, but basic. However, overall the price is very reasonable for the quality. The pool and sauna were very good. The hotel owner/manager was very helpful to us on advice etc. The breakfast was... More

The title COULD say it on, but as I am a verbose reviewer I'll elaborate. I recently took a three week trip to Europe - this was my first of ten or eleven (losing count) hotels that I stayed in, and one of my favorites. I was stationed in Germany in 1967-68, and had begun with some friends an auto... More

We loved this hotel and the owners, Dirk and Ellen! They were so welcoming and patient with these silly Americans with a million and one questions. Dirk took the time to figure out what train we should take from Frankfurt for us. We wished we could have stayed longer!!! The breakfast was so delicious and there were lots of variety.... More

I stayed four nights at this hotel while walking sections of the Rheinburgenweg on either side of Bacharach. It proved a good choice, being in the centre of town just ten minutes walk from the station. My single room had a balcony (though no view), which sadly the rainy weather stopped me using. Breakfast was fine and the cost of... More

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days September 10th and 11th. Great experience. Owners were excellent. We arrived from Frankfurt early and received a room that morning. Check in wasn't until 3 or 4pm. Food was excellent and room was great! Suggest cruise down Rhine. We plan to stay at Hotel Bacharacher Hof on our next... More

After reviewing TripAdvisor I decided to stay here. I've often visited Bacharach and normally stay at the Alteskolnischer Haus but they were full. The room was adequate and not noisy despite the proximity of the railway line. The restaurant is one of the best in Bacharach and I have no complaints. The owners speak excellent English and are friendly and... More

The hotel is right in the middle of town. We had a room that could see the river and the railroad tracks. Although we could hear the trains go by, the noise never bothered us when we were sleeping at night with the windows closed. Our room was fine although we thought it was a bit strange that they didn't... More

We stayed 3 nights at Bacharacher hof hotel in Bacharach and it was one of the most dissapointing experiences we have ever had. The rooms were very small, one of them was basically a single room and another bed was added. It was really tiny (!), the rooms were so dated one could easily figure out that they had not been...
