- Staff was not understanding at all: due to a suicide our train had a big delay and we missed our 3 connections. Next possibility was to arrive at Bacharach at 1 am. We called the hotel to inform them about our late arrival. The guy refused to open the door, didn't even try to help us, hang up on... More

Very friendly welcome from hotel owners, after long tiring day driving up from Italy. We had been upgraded to a suite which was comfortable and quiet on the top floor of the hotel. Great meal cooked for both of us,and good breakfast buffet. Hotel is very convenient for a stopover,as it is only 15 minutes off the A61 Motorway, but would also... More

We stayed here for one night on our Rhine cycle holiday and found it to be an excellent hotel immediately off the Rhine. The location is delightful in an old medieval walled town, and the swimming pool is lovely to relax in. Breakfast was excellent ( provided gluten free), and a secure garage for the bikes. We booked a triple... More

Bacharacher hof is located right when you enter the city walls, a convenient and quick location in the small town of bacharach! It's located by a multitude of castles to explore and offers close by hiking trails, as well as shops and restaurants. When traveling this year, I went with four other people. I had a single room, very spacious... More

Stayed here for a couple if nights with our family of 5. Bacharach is a beautiful location and we were extremely happy with our choice of hotel. Mini bar/fridge was a bonus as was the balcony. Kids loved the indoor pool and a very short walk to the pier from which to get the boat up river. We did thus... More

Our family, including two teenagers, recently stayed two nights at this hotel. The owners were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts offered something we all could enjoy (scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, juices, coffee, breads, jams and jellies, cold cuts, cereal, milk and fruit). We'd stay here again.

My husband and I were lucky enough to discover Bacharach as a nursing colleague's family live there. It is a beautiful little town and the climb to Stahleck castle was worth the effort. We were lucky enough o have a suite and it was worth the money. We had a most enjoyable dinner there and lovely breakfast before travelling across... More

We stayed at the Hotel Bacharacher Hof for several days while making the town of Bacharach our home base during a visit to the Rhine Gorge. The hotel is located in one of the town's many historic buildings and, although the building is several hundred years old, the hotel is equipped with all of the modern accommodations. We booked two... More

We just spent 3 days in this lovely town. The hotel was great! It's a charming hotel and the owners have paid lots of attention to details. They were very helpful and friendly during our stay. Our room and bath were large, clean and bright. We had our own balcony with a little table and 2 chairs with views of... More

We stayed two nights in the medieval village of Bacharach. Clean and simple room at the back of the property. Wanted a room with a view of the river but were advised by the owner that those rooms would be too noisy since the hotel is right by the train tracks. Parking lot right behind the hotel.
