First the good-the hotel staff was WONDERFUL. Keith, the front desk agent who checked us in, really went above and beyond. This is the first Sleep Inn I have stayed in and I was very impressed. Check in and check out were quick and friendly. Any hotel staff I encountered in the hallways or common areas were friendly and spoke.The property is fairly new and very clean.It even still smells new. Was very impressed. The room was clean, and nicely furnished. The wireless internet was great, never had a problem, if you dont have a laptop, there's a computer and printer that you can use. The continental Breakfast was great, eggs, sausage, Belgian waffles, sausage biscuits and gravy, potatoes. Good coffee too. Pool was always quiet and service was friendly. more

I have stayed at this Sleep Inn on numerous occasions; it's probably one of the nicest Sleep Inn's I've seen. Indoor pool, very nice furnishings, comfortable bed and pillows. All interior corridors. Internet service in the rooms is not wireless, but they usually have cables at the front desk for you to use. I've stayed here probably about 15 times... more

Everything was as expected for this chain, except the internet connection. Wireless does not extend to all rooms, and the front desk has no patch cables for the in-room jack. Bring your own Cat 5 patch. Otherwise, 'net access was free. more

We enjoyed our stay at Sleep Inn Oyster Point in Newport News. The hotel is very easy to reach off I-64, the main freeway through the Hampton Roads area. Being so close meant a lot of traffic noise as we pulled into the parking lot and also some in the lobby, but our room faced the rear of the building... more

I loved this hotel!!! They were only on their 3rd week of being open so it was great!! Very clean rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. We will definitely return to Sleep Inn!! more
