I travel to Newport News often and this is my favorite place to stay. Trish always makes sure I have my "soft pillows" and treats me as a valued guest each time i visit. Hotel is close to Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Smokey Bones and Chili's.

Another great stay at the Comfort Suites Newport News. We visit Newport News frequently to visit our daughter and her family who are stationed close by. The entire staff is always accommodating, professional, efficient, and welcoming. The facility is clean, bright and pleasant.

Front desk service at this hotel exceeds expectations. Shannon welcomed us with a huge smile and answered all of our questions with expertise and confidence. She obviously knows the area well. Check-in was quick and efficient. We will return whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Easy to find, convenient for our needs. Room was comfortable (although their "pseudo-suites", aka partial room divider doesn't give much quiet if you want to sleep while husband reads or watches TV). Staff friendly, breakfast good.
