We just stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful stay. The area is beautiful around the hotel with a lake and walking areas with shops. The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. more

I love the bed in this hotel, well at least in my room. I've always been a loyal Marriott customer and besides the bed in the Marriott by the Manchester Airport in the UK, I haven't been able to find something comparable in the US. But guess what? I found it here!! The hotel offers lots of parking, except you... more

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Newport News Marriott and loved every minute of it. We were able to get a special rate of $89 per night and go more than our money's worth. The location was excellent- near shopping and many restaurants. Other than having to pay for parking and no free internet service, the hotel... more

Traveling on business and stayed 3 nights. The hotel had a beautiful bar and view of a lake. Within walking distance of restaurants around the lake. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area. more

Travelled to Newport News to welcome home grandson returning from Iraq. This is our second visit to this hotel. Disappointing that you have to pay for parking in their garage, especially after paying $80+ per night!!! Immediate area (City Center) is very nice, suitable to walk around or sit outside day or night, but rather off the beaten path. TV... more

Ive been to this hotel about seven times in the last couple of months and every time it has been perfectly clean. This has the best view a hotel could have looking out over the pond. They could hire a couple more people at the front desk for when the lines get long but besides that is best hotel ive... more

Hotel general area and the room was clean and well maintained. Staff provided good service. Great location. Walk/jog around the fountain area to exercise or enjoy the evening. Shops within walking distance. more

Thank you so much for our wonderful start of our vacation - great way to begin our summer. The hotel was a great mid-point between Busch Gardens and Virginia Beach. We have a 3 year old and it was a great place to stay - not as expensive as the beach, but close enough to do day trips for both... more

The hotel itself is quite nice. But the management and service leave a lot to be desired. a) Despite my having to be there for ten days, management was unable to get me anything other than a room with two small beds. b) Internet service is an additional $5 a day, regardless of how long you are staying and how... more

Terrible place to stay for any reason. Service " At Your Service" is almost humorous. We left our rooms at 10am to find them as we left them at 3pm. Made a number of calls to "At Your Service" to ask them to have housekeeping make the rooms up. Each time we were told they would personally check this matter... more
