Two night stay for a short ski break, perfect location for direct access to the slopes, comfortable room, small but we were skiing all day so not a problem although bathroom was rather dated as was the room in general. We didn't mind as weren't spending much time in the room. At €286 per night, it isn't cheap, but for... More

My family and I stayed there for 15 nights the hotel was great if you are skiing because you can rent your skis inside of the hotel and theres a good store to buy anything you need for ski.The food was great but the problem is that was too gourmet to eat that every night without having any options,in the... The Altiport Hotel and bar have undergone a substantial renovation over the last three years, previously the decor was traditional chalet style, now the area has been opened up and is ultra modern, but still very comfortable. The style of food has changed too, now in the modern style, French meets Asian, but not minuscule Nouvelle Cuisine servings. Cost is... More

No lift queues in the morning if you stay here. Easy drive up from Meribel and plenty of free parking. Ski hire on site is no more expensive than in town and the hotel can issue lift passes. The rooms are perfectly adequate with plenty of storage and good heating. Recommend half board as unlimited cooked buffet breakfast should carry... More

Just returned from a one-week Christmas break at the Altiport. Staff are young and endlessly willing and helpful. But this is a very expensive hotel for the actual quality - very small bedrooms, antiquated bathrooms. Many of the things it claims to do it doesn't - there is no 24-hour room service, no BBC World accessible. Menu prices are bordering... More

The Altiport hotel is situated about 10 min drive from Meribel centre and right beside a ski station. Rooms are confortable but dated and bathrooms are sub standard for a 4 star. On the plus side service is friendly and efficient, we had great food (half broad breakfast and dinner included), leisure centre is new and plush. Special word of... More

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this hotel in January. The views are spectacular, and the location is great if you like seclusion. It is not quiet(obviously ) due to the airplanes and helicopters as it is located on the airport. The drive to town in 10-15 minutes, but the bus-stop is a 2 minute walk. A chiar-lift... More

It's been our second season in Meribel. We love it, we'll come here again but... not to this hotel. LOCATION: 10-15 mins drive from Meribel centre up the mountain. No problem at all if the weather is ok, but if it's snowing, you will need winter tyres or snow chains. Although free bus shuttles run every 15-30 mins right from... More

This family run hotel is well above the main centre of Meribel . Our room had magnificent views overlooking the adjoining golf course and small airstrip ( only for single seat plans and rescue helicopters ) Rated as 3* but in the summer certainly better than that – Then there is the food !! Summer breakfast buffet was full of... More
