Stayed here with my husband over Easter weekend, such a magical stay. There was an unseasonal dumping of snow overnight on the first night we stayed so we woke up as if we were in a christmas fairytale. The hotel sits right at the base of the ski lifts - about a 5 minute walk so perfect for my snowboarding... More

The best location if you're going to Meribel. Ski in/out. Close to bars & restaurants. Major issue: bathtub, no shower. Just a hose. Like for washing a dog. For a girl this is a nightmare. It took me 1/2 an hour to wash my hair. C'mon!. For the perfect day, ski all morning and plan to take in a late... More

Meribel in general is a fantastic ski town which easily influences on guest experiences and subsequent hotel reviews. Hotel L'Eterlou rode this wave and overall we had an excellent stay. High Points: Breakfast, coffee, internet, happy hour, free wifi, close proximity to the chair lift, super friendly staff, warm ambiance, relaxing pool and hot tub Needs Improvement: Bed comfort, showers... There were 12 of us in total, 6 adults and 6 teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17. Only 2 families booked originally as our friends only came last minute they had to have one of the 4 person rooms which was a bit tight for space but they were last minute. I don't think one of us had... More

We stayed in this hotel over the February 2015 half-term. We had booked a triple room but were given a room with a double bed and bunk beds in the hallway. I have made it sound worse than it was but I admit it was quite small and would have been a bit of a squeeze with 4 staying. What... More

We stayed in L’Eterlou side of the hotel (2 adults, 2 kids, half-board) for a week at half-term. Booked with Inghams. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and the type of holiday it allowed us. Firstly the staff we very pleasant and helpful whenever we needed them – I enjoyed the owners invitation to a welcome aperitif and... More

Stayed a few days at le tremplin: positives are good location, very friendly staff, new boot room and entrance hall, and generally good food; negatives are the rooms are old, showers fluctuate between scalding hot and ice cold water, very, very noisy rooms as they are on noisy street and/or directly above busy bars underneath, no wifi in rooms, half... I couldnt fault this hotel in any way! It was a perfect location, wonderful food, cosy and homely rooms and the best service we could have asked for. We went to Meribel for christmas this year on a family holiday for a week. My main comment regarding the hotel would have to be that we were treated excellently by the... More

The location of this hotel is excellent, being only a short walk from the lifts at Chaudanne and very near the centre of town. The ski facilities were OK with the exception that there were no boot dryers. The ski room is also tucked away in the garage area, which isn't the best part of the building. Facilities such as...
