The owners are very nice. Everybody do their best to serve you. A special mention for the Carita Spa and quality of care. We eat well every night and there was an excellent bartender. Stayed for a 10 days over Christmas at a cost of over $5,000 per person. Ouch! At this cost, accomodations, food and service should be impeccable. They were not. Accomodations were excellent, but cramped. Our bedroom reeked of fresh paint fumes; ventilation was non-existent. Good try, but not very impressive. Paid 900 euros/night for a week. There are better places with nicer staff for half the price. You have to book earlier, though. Love Meribel, but felt this hotel was a rip off. Staff is really incompent. Going to Meribel this February as well. But no more Helios.
