Really difficult to review the place, the girl at reception was really nice, if a bit under too much pressure at times, she also doubled as our waitress for the evening meal. The meal was top notch, lovely food & wine ..great service. When we arrived we were offered one of the 'chalets' in the garden .....sounds good but when... More

Charming hotel in the heart of Luberon, making a perfect base for exploring the region and also for some hours of pure relax by the pool and garden. Lovely decoration that goes perfectly with the general spirit of Provence. Outdoor tables in the restaurant for a lunch listening to the stream that runs on the back. Friendly staff.

The first trick when staying here is to find the place, it is well hidden down a long and very dusty unmade and in places treacherous lane, and if you have an open top car do not do as we did and drive down open, we arrived looking like flower graders! There was no one on reception, and eventually found... More

This place made our holiday. We arrived here by chance, following the Lonely planet hint and found a piece of paradise. The hotel is in provençal style but unpretencious and very nice, cosy, comfortable. The garden is peaceful and relaxing, and the service both at the hotel and at the restaurant was outstanding. The pool is also very nice. We... More

Some reviewers did say it is off the beaten path, but it is much more then I expected. First of all, we could not find the place and did good deal of driving around before finding it. It is literally in the middle of nowhere, so if you want to do any sightseeng or shopping or anything - you have... More

Great small hotel. Really nice stay (2nd visit) and this time took friends and stayed in the 'huts' in the garden which were very clean, comfortable and in fact I preferred them to the rooms in the main hotel building (because you have outside space right at your door). The staff are all very friendly and helpful, excellent manager. Food... More

Read the other positive reviews for accurate descriptions of this wonderful place. I want to add a bit about the professionalism of the management. I planned a short break to see my niece who was on study abroad in nearby Lacoste. November seems to be the end of the season, and many hotels in the region shut down until spring.... More

This was the quaint and classical Provencial date - ancient countryside, adorable Auberge, & dining room in an understated old enclosed patio. It was elegantly set up, and the service people provided classic, exceptional service... friendly and curiously familiar while allowing for our own dalliances and private moments. They answered every question we had, engaged our senses completely, and made... More

We are so glad we chose this out-of-the-way, charming property in a relaxed, woodsy setting rather than another hotel in downtown Apt. We stayed 3 nights in a chalet with a front porch which faced the wooded mountains and a small, bubbling stream. Our room was comfortable and the air conditioning quite welcome as it was unseasonably warm. The staff... More

An earlier reviewer described Auberge de L'Aiguebrun as "shabby French chic" - and this is spot on! The hotel is in a wonderfully quiet and tranquil location - absolutely beautiful, and the staff were, without exception, very helpful and pleasant. We arrived hot and weary after a three hour walk from Gordes, and well after lunch time - but were... More
