We spent two nights here in September as part of a week long trip around Provence and were delighted to have found it and will return again. We had a large room with excellent bathroom and plenty of storage. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the views from the dining room stunning. The owners were friendly and helpful and generous.... more

More a boutique hotel than a b&b, the Clos du Buis is the perfect Provence hotel. The rooms are large, new and clean. The view across the valley belongs on a postcard. The breakfast is a wide selection of local cheeses, meats, fruits, pasteries, and breads, as well as hot dishes to order. The house is beautiful and used to... more

I don't use the term "perfect" very often, but this small inn hit the mark on all points during our recent 3-day visit. Excellent location, our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet with a great bathroom, very good breakfast (and a kitchen for the use of guests), beautiful garden with pool, free wireless, and a helpful proprietor. We look... more

The Clos du Buis announces itself as a chambres d'hotes- a bed and breakfast. In fact it is more like a small, elegant hotel. Situated in one of the most charming, albeit bustling, little towns of the Luberon, the inn has a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bath is modern with plenty of hot water.... more

As other reviewers have noted, this is a lovely and welcoming B&B in Bonnieux. We had a nice room overlooking the valley; plenty of room for suitcase storage and nice bathroom too. Breakfast was an appealing array of breads, cheese, fruit, pastries, etc. and served in the dining room overlooking the gardens and the valley. Pierre and staff could not... more

We spent one night at this B & B. It was delightful. The other reviews have pretty much said it all. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed in the blue room with a wonderful view of the valley below. When we arrived we openned our window and sat drinking champagne, olives, cheese and bread just admiring the view... more

We stayed at the Clos du Buis for one night in June. All the reviews of this hotel/B&B were very favourable and this one will be no exception! The room was large, well-furnished and very clean. It had lovely views over the valley. Breakfast was copious and there is again a magnificent view over the countryside. The owner is more... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2008. The comments made by previous reviewers are pretty much right - this is a small but well-run and friendly B&B in the centre of the village (which by the way is very good for eating out , with more restaurants than most of the other small villages in the Luberon area).... more

My husband and I just returned from a small group tour in Provence, and the tour was based in this B&B, in the lovely perched village of Bonnieux. There is a wonderful back garden with great views of the valley, and the Luberon mountains, and a patio to enjoy your baguette, cheese, olives, and wine you get from the stores... more

We ended our 2007 tour of Provence at Le Clos du Bois. What a gem!!! Right in the middle of the small village Bonnieux in the Luberon Valley. With all the facilities needed to make you feel at home. Friendly personell, great room with a view overlooking the whole Luberon all the way over to Mt Ventoux. Excellent garden facilities;... more
