We stayed one night in a garden room with our two dogs. The room was a bit tight with a strange arrangement of large bath and bathroom behind curtains - could not really understand why there was no wall as it meant the room became quite steamed up after a bath plus no room for a shower which is a... My husband and I stayed at Hotel de Toiras for 4 nights, using the hotel as a base to explore the beautiful Ile de Re. Our experience was first class. A high level of hospitality was displayed by all members of the team. All in all, our holiday was definitely enhanced by our choice of this hotel.

We have just spent two nights at the Toiras & thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time there. The room was seriously comfortable & well appointed, small details like the personalised welcome note & the nightly weather forecasts were nice touches & appreciated. The staff were without exception charming & helpful. We will certainly be returning to the Toiras as... More

This was the perfect place for a short off-season visit to Isle de Re. The room was beautiful, with a gorgeous big bathtub for relaxing, we had four big windows overlooking the harbor, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the bed was wonderfully firm and we had a great night sleep. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during our stay (Sunday... More

This is is many ways not really a hotel. It's more a selection of apartments, some rather grand, some quite small (like ours, still €400 a night in high season), but without much in the way of what you could call facilities. There is a very pretty lounge-cum-entry hall, a very small dining room, a tiny but pretty courtyard and,... More

This hotel, fashioned from an ancient merchants house is ideally positioned on the main quay of the St Martin port and yacht basin in the heart of the pedestrian zone and within minutes walk of all the restaurants, the market and shops. The ambience and rooms are chic and comfortable furnished with antiques and interesting artworks, breakfast is served in a stunning... More

Our last stay here was our 3rd or 4th stay on the island (I forget exactly how many times - it always feels like coming home whenever we visit, whether for a trip or the day). Several times we have toyed with the idea of staying somewhere else, mainly somewhere further north on the island so that we can better... More

Booked this as a treat for my better half. It's very expensive but it was a special occasion. The situation is excellent right on the port in St Marten. The team are outstandingly helpful and nice. Didn't eat there so cannot speak to the food. The reservations are a slightly shabby sheek infrastructure and an inadequate response to a significant... More

Staying in the Hotel Torias at the port of St Martin de Re was like being on a luxury liner without moving. The rooms in the hotel were spacious , elegant, and had a real soul. Each room was decorated differently and all gave the feeling of peace and space and done by someone with a great deal of taste.... More
