My husband and I stayed for 4 days at the hotel in august 2014. The location of the hotel was ideal for us, allowing us to easily explore the island by day and stroll in to the great restaurants at night. We had a superior Balcony room overlooking the sea. The room was on the small side, but adequate, clean,... More

We stayed at this hotel for five nights at the end of June and were blessed with excellent weather. Our room was just large enough for our stay but the balcony was lovely, with comfortable furniture and views of the sea and swimming pool. The breakfast was very good for a three star French hotel with lots of choice and... More

Great hotel, although it was more of a B&B. Not far from the main town centre, great cleaners, and great breakfasts! The staff were all lovely and very hard working - would definitely stay again if I were to go back.

This family run hotel is all about customer satisfaction. The staff/owners were the friendliest we ever encountered! Room was large/roomy enough to fit our family of 4. Ocean view, calm environment, children friendly and heated pool were all extremely appreciated. Walking distance (2min) from the center of town/port where lots of restaurants, shops, and stores are located. Breakfast was extremely... More

5 minutes from a picturesque fishing harbour packed with great restaurants , this hotel is cosily decorated with a marine theme, on a west facing beach for glorious sunsets. Rooms are fine, breakfast is a generous and varied buffet (great coffee!) and service is warm and welcoming. Shame wifi is only accessed in the lounge (but who needs it on... More

This hotel is mid Island south side on the west edge of this town so you can see the sunset off to the west. We are driving a big circle around Europe and where looking for a place that would not be too expensive, or crowded and yet still be in a place that gives a good sunset, more so... More

Hotel was stilll great, and still run by the same family, who make you very welcome. Room was excellent, pool good, breakfast and lounge area fantastically decorated. Lovely Stay, we will be going back as soon... More

Spotlessly clean, freshly decorated (we assume) friendly hotel right on the (only average) beach. Would recommend Ile de Re nearby over Ile d'Oleron; but if you want to visit the island, this is a great choice. Walk to numerous restaurants and a few shops around the little fishing port. Note that is accessibility is an issue, there is no elevator.... More

A charming and personal hotel with a fantastic location. Beautiful building from the 30's with friendly and dedicated owners. The room was clean, big and quite cosy - the pool was lovely and the owners are apparently interested in design which you can notice in the lounge/breakfast room. The breakfast was ok but from a scendianvian perspective we would have... More

A rip off!! the name, description and photos are very misleading. "Face aux flots" is a display of NO flots. You may see the water hiden by roof tops from the "De-lux rooms" 3 rooms with a tiny "balcony" exposed to the sun with of course no Air conditioning. You enjoy the STRICT minimum, soap the size of your thumb,... More
