I agree with what others have said about this most unusual property including the surprise of finding that passing through the gates is like passing into another world. I want to include mention of the historic events this chateau has seen related to "The War to End All Wars." This very chateau was the headquarters of Maréchal Foch, chief of... More

Le Pavillon Saint Martin, is an oddity. It’s listed as a B&B yet it’s so much more ! Complete with it’s own ‘Park’ this 17th centaury Chateu retains all the charm and grace associated with French nobility from a bye gone age, it simply oozes history. Many of the original features are maintained in this charming house giving a chance... More

The building and grounds of this B&B are quite magnificent. The building itself is particularly grand, with a drawing and breakfast room on the first floor and three bedrooms on the second floor. It is like stepping back in time when entering the building with tapestries, ornate clocks and statues adorning the interior. The furniture in our bedroom was in... More

Quite an extraordinary B & B, certainly different from anything we've experienced previously. We selected this property as an alternative to staying at Charles de Gaulle prior to early morning international flight and it was a perfect choice for easy access airport access - 25 mins front door to terminal 1. Hospitable host and it was no problem to provide... More

"B&B" hardly does justice to the extraordinary experience awaiting you here. "Time travel" would be more like it. The Labourets welcome you into their beautiful chateau and make it possible for you to imagine that you actually live like this everyday. The other reviews and the photos already say it all so I'll be brief: stay here if you possibly... More

This chateau really does offer all the elegance of a bygone era, which friendly owners Marc & Charlotte are obviously keen and proud to maintain. The chateau is steeped in history, surrounded by acres of beautiful gardens - a real hidden gem. We used it as a stop-over on our way to EuroDisney, but even our boys (7 & 9)... More

Fancy staying in an authentic French chateau? You can in Senlis. In a well-appointed convivial atmosphere with discreet but friendly hosts it is hard to find fault with this most urbane of chambres d'hotes. Breakfasts are served in an elegant dining room while the building itself is set in beautiful parkland. 5 minutes walk from the centre of Senlis and... More

When we arrived at this "bed and breakfast," my husband thought we had the wrong address, as we were facing a stately wrought iron gate in front of a long driveway leading up to a chateau. But immediately we were greeted by Marc and his lovely wife, Charlotte, who insisted on carrying our bags up to our room. We were... More
