The owners (husband and wife) were very helpful and friendly with my wife and me. I noticed they were this way with everyone. It's rather amazing how much effort they put into tastefully renovating this compound. We had a lovely, clean room which included a spa (which we did not use) in the bathroom. The landscaping around the swimming pool... More

I can't rate this place highly enough!! We originially planned to stay for three nights and it was so lovely we asked to stay an additional night. With trepidation we booked the Arfican Room. When we arrived we were absolutely thrilled with our room. It was carefully decorated with interesting african pictures, statues and furnishings - we loved it!! The... More

We booked three days in Prades. The town is awful and this place saved our holiday from ruin. We attempted to do the valley by public transport using Prades as a base. Other than the petit train jaune, this proved to be problematic....so we're stuck in a dowdy town with not much to do... Well we needn't have worried. We... More

This is much better than a hotel. The rooms are individual and themed. Great Bathroom with jacuzzi and a great view of the inner garden and the surrounding mountains. It is incredible peaceful but only a five minute walk ( including approx. 50 stairs) away from the village center. The couple who run and own the hotel are incredible nice... More

This is one amazing hotel. We were offered a selection of two rooms – the Indian one and the Moroccan one. Both rooms were amazing. A great swimming pool, yard, sauna and spa. Beautifully designed with attention and care. When we have arrived, we were greeted with a regional aperitif. The owner – Mary-Clair – was very charming and friendly.... More

What a lovely place. The accommodation and gardens were immaculate. We had a very nice room overlooking the pool area with its colourful plants and good seating areas. The breakfasts were very good with a great choice. There was a guests lounge and a pool table and also an honesty cabinet with soft drinks and beer. The accommodation also had... More

The garden and swimming pool area of this property make a lovely setting. Our bedroom (Indian) was quiet and very comfortable with a large, well-equipped shower room. We liked the croissants and bread at breakfast and especially the home made jam, although the breakfast room was rather utilitarian. In our duplex room, the very narrow, steep steps up to the... Stayed there for 2 nights, with my family, of 3 children, the stay was comfortable, and the owners were very firndly and informative about the local area. La tannerie is doen in a tastful way, has a lot of character and charm; you can see that the owners had put a lot of thoughts about the comfort of their guests.
