I stayed here for two nights with my son recently, whilst we were visiting the D Day sights. It is very convenient for visiting the D Day Museum in Arromanches as well as other D Day beaches and sites. Our room was at the top of the house, up two steep flights of stairs. It was fairly basic, but comfortable,... More

We stayed here two nights during a visit to the Normandy region of France. The location is great as a base point for the region and the hotel is especially well situated, as it is a very short walk from the beach there (former port, there is also a museum). You could see out our room's window to the water.... More

We stayed here for two nights. The room was small but adequate. It was apparent from the start that the restaurant is the mainstay of the business. One checks in at the bar and is shown the room and that is about the end of the hotel experience. The owner is very friendly but very busy with the restaurant. The... More

Arromanches is a nice place to stay. The hotel is in a great spot.It was easy to find free car parking nearby when there in September. We were given room 2 which is nicely and recently decorated and overlooks the street and sea. We didn't try the restaurant, but did try others in Arromanches We'd be happy to stay again.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband and 16 yr old son. After travelling for 12 hrs we were shown to our room which you had to climb two flights of stairs (spiral) very narrow and steep second flight had a rope as a hand rail which would not be suitable for eldery or young children. We booked a... More

We thank you for your review but when you said you had booked a "SEA VIEW" it does not make sense since we don't have a triple room with sea view. That is the best example of booking through internet with operators that make you believe things, next time you book a room anywhere pick up the phone and ask... More

Small, character hotel, in a good location, especially for any tour of the D-Day beaches. My room looked a little jaded but was very clean and a good firm mattress to sleep on. Shower with great water pressure. Floor boards seemed very creaky and sleep was disrupted by people in room above, walking about during the night. Good breakfast. Staff... More

Stayed here 2 nights, to visit D Day beaches. First of all, what a fantastic location, right in the middle of everything and almost on the beach, but quiet and peaceful at night. Owners and staff lovely, helpful and friendly. Decided to pay extra for breakfast (continental) and this was good quality and value. Parking is free in main car... More

Lovely hotel with a spacious clean room! The position of this hotel could not have been better! Literally a stones throw from the beach and the museum! Would stay here again for sure! The meal we had in the evening was okay but slightly pricey would maybe eat else where if we stayed again!

After 5 days in Paris we wanted to explore Normandy and we could not have found a better place to stay. Luis, the proprietor, was friendly and sociable, and he even helped plan our the rest of our time in France with suggestions on where to go in Normandy and beyond. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Restaurant was... More
