Roomy, clean, comfortable quarters. Shower with rain shower. Loved the charachter of the home & the garden area. Our host spoke English just fine. Couldn't get wifi in the room, but didn't turn out to be a big deal for us. I would stay here again. ( I was worried about a smoke smell from other reviews but our room was... More

Stayed here for one night. Sorry I don't speak French. And if you don't speak French your gonna have a hard time here. Don't get me wrong people are very nice just....a few words would be nice I guess if you run a b&b? I'll come back when I get time to learn French.

Small, dirty room on ground floor.Dirt and moisture spots in corners near bed.Price 80 EUR per night is too high for low comfort room.Old furniture.Cannot open window because it is 1 meter from street. The worst breakfast per our travel week.

Stayed here for one night as the neighbouring Normandy Beach B&B couldnt accomadate us for a final night (what a shame). Chez Mounie is run by an elderly man, Jacques, we got there at 7.00pm and it was all locked up. We were ushered to the room and Jacques disappeared. The B&B and rooms smelt musty, bed linen was faded... More

OK place to stay in the Normandy area. Small rooms, typically French. Don't expect American niceties or frills. A little shabby and a little dirty. I DON'T recommend eating here. Go next door to eat breakfast. Venture out in the area for lunch and dinner. . Convenient walking distance to Arromanches sites. Short drive to other Normandy WW II sites.

Yes, this is a simple hotel but you understand what it is when you look at the rooms. It was adequate and had no extras such toiletries, TV or hair dryer. One bottle of soap the the gentleman said acts as everything. We stayed in the room on the ground floor and disagree with previous people who said it's cramped.... More

Booked the flat for five of us on a motorcycle tour of the normandie beaches and found the rooms to be comfortable and clean, was almost put off by the reviews but I'm glad we didn't as we couldn't smell anything. Can't comment on the breakfasts as we took those next door at the Normandy beach with rest of our... More

We booked the family room a few months ago, for the final days of our vacation in France. We first went to the south of France, followed by a short stay in the Loire region and maybe after that our expectations were to high, but still... The family room was on the top floor and there was no parking space... More

Godd location, charming hosts, rooms clean, traditional French decor. An ideal hotel that gets you in the spirit for very moving issues you are about to see during your stay in the town and surrounding area. Would definitely there again if I returned.

We stayed only a night. A nice large room with a clean bathroom which accommodated the three of us. Breakfast OK. A Nice common area with a lot of books and a nice piano. Unfortunately it is allowed to smoke there (and the owner smokes quite a lot). On the down side a stale smell pervaded the place (fortunately not... More
