Stayed here for one night on route back to ferry. Rooms are basic but clean and bathrooms were good. We didn't get a fantastic night's sleep - the floorboards creak like mad and its right by the church with tolling bells from 7am to 11 pm!! However, it has a lovely atmosphere, is in a great location with welcoming hosts.... More

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mulberry! While the hotel itself may not be luxurious, the personal care from the owner, Christian, more than makes up for any flaws. He spoke enough English, and I spoke enough French, that between us we had a delightful time connecting and communicating. He bent over backwards to make sure our stay was... More

Didn't sleep a wink at this place, the pillows actually hurt my face they were so flat and hard. The room was extremely small and although they can't do anything about that, just updating and providing decent furnishings would be a huge improvement. On the up side, the service was friendly and helpful and the evening meal was excellent.

Perversely we actually enjoyed our stay for 4 nights at Le Mulberry, although we came away quite disappointed that our stay didn't match our expectations arising from reading other very positive reviews before we booked. The good; nice looking small hotel, lovely eating area for breakfast and pleasant front room for coffee/relaxing. Bedrooms both upstairs in main building and in... More

My grandson and I visited the Normandy area and stayed 2 nights at the Mulberry. I was on the back side next to the church and it was a spacious room and even the bells tolling at 7 am were delightful. My grandson was on the second floor next to the church. His room was a little bit smaller but... More

We were all very pleased with our overnight stay at Le Mulberry @ Arromanches-les-Bain June 30th - July 1st. Family of four in two rooms. We were very warmly welcomed by Sophie and Christian. . Christian and Sophie helped us settle into our rooms next to the lovely little Church. The rooms and facilities were clean and fresh and completely... More

Stayed for one night. The rooms are very clean and basic....typical of this region. Beautiful town to stay. The best part is dining at the hotel. Christian and Sofie, the owners served and cooked a fabulous meal. Escargot was great (first time). Great wine selection as well. We were traveling to different cities each night...we will remember our stay here.

We arrived in the evening and were grateful to be able to have a fine dinner in the hotel restaurant? Our family had a triple room for one night on the ground floor of the hotel annex across from the church. We mention this because there is a step down into the room and at night there was no light,... More

We enjoyed our stay in Arromanches-les-Bain and at Le Mulberry. When we arrived in the late afternoon, we were able to find a parking place on the street in front of the hotel. Our bags were carried upstairs for us, and Christian was an attentive and friendly host. He even helped carry our bags out to our car when we... More

Great hotel, service and food. We stumbled onto this little gem while in Arromanches-les-Bain. Didn't have a reservation but lucked upon an opening. The cozy great room and dining room were excellent. Our room was utilitarian and comfortable.
