Great hotel, service and food. We stumbled onto this little gem while in Arromanches-les-Bain. Didn't have a reservation but lucked upon an opening. The cozy great room and dining room were excellent. Our room was utilitarian and comfortable.

We had a very pleasant two day stay. Christian is an engaging and conscientious host. He was very gracious with his time, helping us with some document transfer back to the US. Sophie is a creative and talented chef, offering high quality fare at a reasonable price. The care this family takes is apparent in every space. Our room, upstairs... More

We stayed one night as part of a short tour of Normandy. I remembered the restaurant from many years ago on battlefield tours and hoped that it was still good. We were both very impressed with the welcome on a blustery wet evening. The room was warm, simply furnished but scrupulously clean as was the compact en-suite. The bed was... More

Reservation process was easy and Christian was so kind in keeping in touch with me before our visit. Even our late arrival didn't cause a fuss. Location of this lovely B&B allowed us to easily drive to the Normandy beaches and walking around the beautiful town was an added treat. Our meals were excellent amd the price quite reasonable.

Le Mulberry is among my favorite places ever to stay. My family felt very comfortable and welcome here. The family room was very spacious (even by US standards). The restaurant and food were an added jewel. The food and wine were delicious. Everyone I encountered at Le Mulberry was very kind and hospitable.

My wife and I stayed here one night in the room that is behind the restaurant/main building. The room was a good size and very clean. The breakfast was excellent! We ate our dinner at the restaurant and really enjoyed the meal. Christian's wife is the chef and she knows how to cook! Like others have commented, this is the... More

The hotel has warm, welcoming staff and the location is good if visiting all the Normandy landing beaches. Accommodation is fairly basic and yet comfortable (we had the family room in the loft). Beware - if sleeping at the rear of the hotel the church bell strikes on the hour every hour until 23.00 and then again from 07.00!!!! We... More

Christian the host was lovely. We found Arromanches the perfect place to stay to explore the Normandy beaches. Others complained of the church bell, but we didn't find it a problem, it simply added to the charm and unless you had the window open, it wasn't that loud. We stayed 5 nights in the family room, my wife, myself and... More

We arrived and were checked in by a very welcoming young man who showed us to our family room on the top floor, note that the staircase is very steep and spiral to the top floor. A good sized room with a well equipped bathroom ensuite and roof windows including one overlooking the infamous clock tower. Hanging space is a... More

Overlook that there's no fire escape notice on the inside of the bedroom door, accept that you might have to walk 50m from where you've parked your car, resign yourself to the fact that the church bell will deafen you at 7am after its overnight curfew... in fact, forget what you'd normally expect from your average hotel and just embrace...
