Not stayed at this hotel but had lunch at the restaurant. Had table with a beautiful view. Large selection of good quality fish, meat and seafood dishes. Very good wine list. Dessert was mouthwatering. Service was friendly and with a smile. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We arrived at Hotel de la Marine late Tuesday afternoon on the 14th of April we were on Brittany Ferries self-drive ‘Glimpse of D-Day’ 4 night tour, the Hotel is very easy to find on the seafront at Arromanches next to the Main Square and museum. The hotel looked very inviting in its prime position and we were looking forward... More

Our room had a great view of the sea but was a bit small and needed a refurb. The other couple we were with had a much more modern room and bigger so was the luck of the draw. You can't fault this hotel on location. It's really central for exploring arromanches and the surrounding area. Parking was also easy... More

Spent a delightful day and night at the hotel while visiting the Normandy beaches. The location is stunning, the staff is welcoming and very hardworking and the room clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ample with many choices. We regretted leaving so soon. Would definitely visit again. Merci beau coup.

We had a beautiful room with big windows that opened onto the view of the beach. Listening to the ocean at night and the ocean breeze lulled us to sleep. Breakfast was just ok by our American standards we are used to a larger more complete breakfast. This breakfast was more of a continental style with croissants, fruit, cereals, breads.... More

We recently stayed three nights at this hotel. The good bits: it is situated by the beach and adjacent all the local amenities. Typical seaside hotel, not grand but clean and functional although it has seen better days and some areas are a little shabby. Great place to stay with the kids. The bad bits: Do not expect to be... We recently stayed at the Hotel de la Marine while visiting the Normandy beaches. It does not pretend to be a five star hotel--it is a simple, but charming hotel which is obviously well run and aims to please its guests. We asked for a room with a sea view and even though we were not staying in the biggest... More

This is a lovely restaurant with great views over the beaches at Arromanches. Moules & Frites with a delicious bottle of Chablis. Service was very good considering how busy the restaurant was at lunchtime.

This hotel is right on the sea front, opposite the Mulberry Harbour and near the D Day museum. Our room on the corner (No.231) had a fantastic double aspect view. It was small - very small, but the beds must be the most comfortable in France. The bathroom was tiny, and could be difficult for larger people. It was a... More

Fantastic locations right on sea wall of Arromanches harbour. Restaurant pleasant but the 4 waiters working during our stay were run off their feet during our visit, food good but expensive. Go upstairs though and you're back to 1973. Very basic not even a kettle. Our room on first floor had 2 single beds pushed together with another single to... More
