This hotel is right on the sea front, opposite the Mulberry Harbour and near the D Day museum. Our room on the corner (No.231) had a fantastic double aspect view. It was small - very small, but the beds must be the most comfortable in France. The bathroom was tiny, and could be difficult for larger people. It was a... More

Fantastic locations right on sea wall of Arromanches harbour. Restaurant pleasant but the 4 waiters working during our stay were run off their feet during our visit, food good but expensive. Go upstairs though and you're back to 1973. Very basic not even a kettle. Our room on first floor had 2 single beds pushed together with another single to... More

Booked this because of recommendation in Daily Telegraph. No doubt great position in centre of Arramanches on promenade overlooking sea and beach. Car parking in public car park next to hotel. Staff superb. Restaurant overlooks promenade and beach. However rooms very small...12'x12' including bathroom and toilet. Don't book half board because the evening meal is the 25 euro menu of... Perfect location, Normandy beach-side with views of the remains of the Mulberry harbour. We stayed for two nights in this quaint rambling hotel in a spotless double room inclusive of breakfast. Big windows that opened gave us a view of the sweep of the beach and the promenade below. Reception staff were very courteous and informative. Restaurant service was a... More

This little hotel is located right on the beach and has a nice view of the remnants of the temporary harbor which was constructed and destroyed during the D-Day invasion and Normandy operations. Aside from its location, however, the hotel has some issues. The free Wi-Fi only worked one of our two nights there. The water in the shower got... More

Perfect location. Lovely view. Excellent service. The hotel is a bit old and therefore the walls are thin and a lot of noise can be heard in the rooms, but the quaint and charm of the place made up for it.

Perfect location, right beside the beach. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed every minute. Our spotless room was at the front of the hotel with a fantastic view of the bay and the remains of the Mulberry harbour. No balcony but big windows that opened properly so you can lean out and watch the world go by. The hotel... More

I loved staying in this welcoming hotel. The staff made me feel like a returning WWII hero - beyond welcoming. The room was charming and as described - not facing the seafront, but with a lovely view along the seawall and masses to sit and watch. Relaxing, helpful - I highly recommend this place. It is not grand luxe but... More

If you want to discover the story DDay 6 Juin 1944 the best place is Arromanches Bay. You are lucky because still you have chance to see the break-water bridge over the see from the beach or even your room window. Starting with April Arromances is getting popular because of sun and good weather. You have 5 or 10 step... More

Fantastic location right on the beach at Arromanches. From the hotel restaurant you can see the historic remains of the Mulberry Harbour. Amazing! All the staff were exceptionally polite and friendly and spoke English. We had requested a seaview so were a little disappointed not to get a room facing directly over the sea. However from our side room you... More
