This was our third visit here as a couple but first with our daughter and family (husband and our young grand-daughter). As always Adrian and Karen were excellent hosts and we felt thoroughly welcomed. Unparalleled experience!

Three Bikers from Wales (Cardiff)....stayed 5 nights and we could not recommend this B&B enough... it was recommended by a friend and although I never write reviews anywhere on anything I thought it remiss of me If I didn't on this occasion. The relaxed ambience and Joie de vivre was lovely. Karen even tumble dried my jeans for me when... More

Just stayed for four nights. Aromanches is a good central base for visiting sites on the British and American beaches and inland. There is a good range of restaurants and bars in the town. Karen (the landlady) looked after us well. The continental breakfasts provided us with sustenance to last most of the way though the day and a free... More

Stayed here for 4 nights so that we could visit the ww2 D-Day beaches. We travel on a motorbike so wanted somewhere that had decent parking facilities and was used to bikers. This was perfect. Excellent breakfasts and liquid refreshments are available (in moderation). Lovely comfortable rooms and the landlady is great.

Derek, Really pleased you had a good time and that Karen looked after you well all on her own while I was away in UK for a few days at the Goodwood Revival race meeting with our daughter Adrienne. I hope the Harley was nice and snug tucked away under the bike sheds after your days out, and the complimentary... More

At first when we were shown our room from the outside we were a little bit dubious as it looked very small, however inside it was a bit like the tardis and there was enough room and it was cosy and adrian offered us another room next day but we decided to stay where we were. We were well looked... More

We stayed with family using all 5 rooms at Normandy Beach and had a great week. Karen warmly welcomed us, the rooms and beds are very comfortable and she cooked us a couple of excellent dinners - in fact she was an amazingly helpful, cheerful and fun host. The property is well situated only a very short walk to the... More

Really pleased you all enjoyed your week staying at Normandy Beach. Great having the place filled with one big family taking all the rooms, it was a real pleasure having you all here. Really enjoyed the BBQ you put together, and Dyson the cat really enjoyed the leftover fish, so much so he is refusing to eat his Sheba Gourmet... More

We stayed here for 3 nights last week to revisit the Normandy Landings beaches after many years. This was a birthday treat for husband Mike and previous reviews drew me to host Adrian and Normandy Beach as the perfect place for us to stay. Everything exceeded our expectations. The charming B&B has been created in an old Arromanches farmhouse which... More

Our family stayed for only two nights but we had a fantastic time made all the more special by Adrian and his local knowledge/ history which we only scratched the surface of. A truly fantastic host and the kids loved Dyson the cat. Thanks again

Lovely having you stay with us, and really pleased you enjoyed the bread oven room. Kids love the split level layout which makes the upper bit half half tree house, half Pirate ship in the minds of young ones. The stone walls and oak beams make it the cosiest of our rooms for couples. Dyson the Cat will happily take... More

Adrian and Karen are great hosts, Adrian is really clued up on local history. Rooms are great, there is a family room that will sleep four or five. Free beer from a fridge in the court yard. Motorcyclist always welcome Adrian rides. Great Breakfast if you need it.

We stayed here last week, it was the most amazing hotel. The staff are lovely, very welcoming and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious and just what you need. Breakfast is also lovely. Will definitely return here again soon! Thank you for a lovely trip!!

Really pleased you had a good time here at Normandy Beach and we look forward to seeing you again before too long. We do get booked up quite quickly - so its probably worth making a provisional booking a bit in advance if you are looking at a particular period, and we can keep you updated with how things are...
