The room had a horrible smell to it. There was mold in the bathroom. The walls were so thin, we could hear every word of normal level conversation. The hotel offered a 10% discount on the restaurant food for people staying at the hotel, but refused to apply our discount for dinner the night before at checkout . . .... More

My wife and I randomly picked this town to see the Normandy beaches in October. We stayed in another hotel but the ratatouille caught my eye on the posted menu. My wife LOVED it and the whole crab served on ice. I had a cheeseburger and fries. Mine was good but she raved about the fresh vegetables and the fresh... More

First the positives, excellent location close to the museum we were due to visit the next day. Breakfast ok ish. However, hotels that use blankets and sheets should be avoided at all costs in my opinion. Duvets are far more hygienic, nearly all hotels have moved over to them for this reason, so come and join us in the 21st... More

The hotel's location is excellent. Just across the beach. And the 1945 museum . The room was a good size and a large bathroom . Very clean and we had the room located in the tower . And facing the beach. I would ask for a sea view room if I were you because it adds to the magic of... More

We went in mainly because it was raining hard and it was close to where we parked. There were quite a few people in, we were sat at a table we were only in for a lunch time snack we were given a menu and we ordered our food. While we waited we started to look around it was then... More

Miserable staff who couldn't hide their contempt for customers. Tiny and tasteless potions. Boring menu. We left hungry, frustrated and wishing we had gone elsewhere. Everything was a hassle for the atrocious staff. They made no effort whatsoever. It would have been easier to just refuse us entry.

This hotel is not fancy and is a bit dated but offers great value. We were staying 2 adults and 2 kids in room 21, which has one window Channel front and one on the village. Room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast at €8.50 is a nice buffet which has good local products. Hotel has limited free parking but... More

The rooms were tiny, but we know better than to expect huge rooms in Europe. You won't be able to lean over in the shower, it's super small. The lobby area of the hotel is a bit cramped, you won't know exactly where to go. Skip the breakfast, it's expensive and nothing but bread with some jams. Also, parking is... More

I booked 3 separate rooms for myself and other friends. We were very disappointed on arrival. Nowhere to park car. Staff not around to book in, and rooms and hotel dated and tatty. Smallest rooms and had bad smell in ours! The shower was so small, couldn't turn or bend to pick up shampoo etc. could hear literally everything in... More

Not the best hotel I've ever stayed in but the price reflects that. The beds, room & bathroom are all clean if somewhat tired, the shower is small but works very well. The staff are helpful and friendly
